The two certainly spent time together before heading there…and whatever experiments Hazama did on poor Platinum seemed to have been traumatizing. He made a transmission to Relius and told him he found a child who is drunk. “Hey Relius, look at who I found. This kid is drunk.” There was a short pause before Relius stated that he hopes Hazama is referring to himself as the drunk child. ~:: The 3D Printed Custom Component Tray ::~ With only 8 Days Left for Phoenix Farm Pre-orders, today I thought it would be nice to feature the custom component tray that’s available! I specially designed these to be the absolute perfect fit for the Phoenix Farm box & pieces. It nestles very snugly into the box, and holds all of the dice, plastic, and metal pieces that come in the game. As an additional benefit, it easily comes out the box as well so that it can be placed on the gaming table and used during gameplay to keep everything from spilling off the table! It was designed in-house using Blendr so that it can be printed from our Ender Printers! What you see in all the pictures is my current prototype for the design, but I’m working on the possibility of adding some magnets into the mix so that there can be a top lid to the tray, helping to prevent spills while the game box is closed! The tray comes in many of our pledge packages for Phoenix Farm on the Kickstarter, but it’s also available as an add-on for only $10 if you get one of the pledge packages that doesn’t include it! Are you the sort who grew up loving to decode secret messages and hide them all over the place? ~Me too. When I was really young, I had a great friend who got me into coding secret notes. We used to send each other encryptions with the pigpen cipher in high school… and then one day we ended up visiting the spy museum in Washington D.C. I remember after that trip, all I wanted to do was establish my own secret society… and so, since the day I began this company, I have made sure to encode little secrets everywhere I can! One of the most entertaining versions of that project was building the “Librarium Lore Text Font”. It started all the way back in 2021 while I was putting the final touches on Calendra. At the very last minute I thought it would be a really cool idea to leak a hint of our cipher to all of our followers, so I hid a secret note in the box for all of you to decipher. As you might have guessed, that note was about Phoenix Farm ^_^* Then, all through 2023 we released our secret lore story about Phoenix Farm on our website for all to try and decode. I’ll never know if/how many people tried to solve it, but I thoroughly enjoyed making it available. It seemed like a really fun side-quest for people to enjoy while we finished designing the game! As we continue to cruise along with the Phoenix Farm Kickstarter Launch, today we wanted to highlight one of the coolest components that is available during this campaign: The Phoenix Ash Magic Dice Jar! These are so much fun to play with. Imagine if you will, a magic 8-ball the size of a lipstick container, but instead of finding your fortune inside, there’s a 6-sided dice! Give it a shake, twirl it around, turn it upside down and a new number awaits! Last summer we made over x100 of these to bring with us to the Connecticut Renaissance Faire, just to see what people would think of them before bringing them to this kickstarter, and let me tell you, without exaggeration we sold out of them every day. I couldn’t keep up with the market at all. So this whole winter I’ve been making more dice with our 3D printer, and preparing to share more of these alongside the game! Phoenix Farm is Officially Green Light for Production! As of about 4pm yesterday afternoon we valiantly crossed the finish line of our big funding ask of $5,000!!! This means that we are officially financially capable of publication! Later this week I will be contacting our manufacturer and preparing our final quotes for production! But much more importantly, this means that anyone who backs the project now will be guaranteed to get a product later this year! (I know that this is a big intimidation factor for many who consider investing in a crowdfunding campaign!) And while this is amazing and very exciting, we still have two weeks left in this campaign!
