Made my way to Brooklyn to get my eyebrows done (the place I go to is the only one allowed to touch them!). I grabbed some coffee and a donut and then swiftly left when I started seeing people I knew in a past life. Time to go! Once I got back into Manhattan I went to see my grandpa and everyone was there! Life in Photos | 04.24.2024 | 🎭🎉🎶💋💜 Where: Harlem / Theatre District 🖤 | meant it when I said this month is PACKED. It's very rare when I have my own two-show day. Alas, the lottery gods were on my side. I saw Stereophonic first which was exceptional and I'll be sure to write a bit about it soon. Can't say enough amazing things here. If you get the chance you see this show. After a quick trip to the house (and some much-needed coffee) I went right back downtown for dinner and show. That's my favorite kind of night. I'm usually solo but I was joined by @magicwithmelissa who is in town for all the shows! I got to meet new friends too which is always fun! We saw SUFFS together and what a show. Still very timely. Armand and I chose to celebrate his birthday today rather than tomorrow as it has fallen on Monday and he is in the office. Plus who's having this much fun on a monday? If you've been here with me for a bit, you'll know the whole saga with my left foot. Long story short. There's a bit of a crack from walking too much in Japan (2020). I wore a brace for some time but a small fissure (a crack!) lingers. So every year I get it checked and make sure it's still a minor issue! Seems like the only thing that soothed the brain was watching “The Outsiders” (a phenomenal show I'll give my two cents soon!). I hated the random rainfall (messed up the hair I literally just got done!) and the world seemed foggy and unwilling to slow down. Maybe it was all those school kids.
