The 25th April marks National DNA Day, a day that commemorates the successful completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003 and the discovery of DNA’s double helix in 1953. We can all agree, that this was a huge breakthrough for the future of human science. That’s said, the term DNA has been used under many different guises, especially where brands are concerned. Over the past few month’s we have talked about our involvement and partnership with the @lnadj_charity . We have been hard at work completing interviews for a documentary, which will tell the story of the 2018 Mt. Kilimanjaro climb to raise funds to build a new unit at @share_tanzania, #featherstalechildrensvillage, with the additional challenge of breaking the world record for the world’s highest DJ set. Musicians, DJ’s, producers and corporate business owners have generously given up their time to share their experience of this epic and life-changing adventure. So, June 2024 with @lnadj_charity we will be taking part in this amazing challenge to raise funds for an incredible cause - the Featherstale Special Needs Childrens home in Tanzania. At the foot of Kilimanjaro this incredible home offers education, medical aid and a safe space for many children who are otherwise left all day as the parents work or just can’t cope. Earlier this week, 432 Films owner @djneilkemp and assistant @lucy_sharpe01 took time out to continue the important work for the @lnadj_charity documentary project. The documentary will tell the story of the 2018 Mt. Kilimanjaro climb to raise funds to build a new unit at @share_tanzania, #featherstalechildrensvillage, with the additional challenge of breaking the world record for the world’s highest DJ set. This week’s interview came courtesy of Andrew Lovell aka Shovell the Drum Warrior, who always goes above and beyond to deliver dynamite content. We believe that all businesses should have a corporate and social responsibility (CSR) and give something back to local or wider communities if they are in a position to do so. First and foremost it’s about giving back, but doesn’t it make good business sense too? I mean who wouldn’t want to work with ethical businesses? We love what we do, whether it’s shooting corporate videos, event videos and everything in between. At 432 Films we don’t just do corporate videos, we’re professional film and documentary makers too. A couple of weeks ago we told you about our partnership with the @lnadj_charity foundation and shared our showreel highlighting the charities fundraising achievements over the past 12 months. Five years ago the boss @djneilkemp , took part in a Mt Kilimanjaro charity climb to film footage of the climb, as well as of the fantastic projects the charity gets involved with. The time has come and we’re now working on the production of the documentary. Watching the footage back was emotional, but in a good way and we’re currently busy interviewing all the good peops, such as _george_evelyn aka @nightmaresonwax [pictured], who took part in the excursion.
