This is another hard Truth to hear. Narcissists do not love you they control you. All of your relationship with a narcissist has been about control. They may have dressed it up at times, and you truly believed that they must love you, but it is all an act to get what they need. The longer you are in a relationship with them the more they will control your life and they do it very slowly at first so you don't even notice. They even tell you that everything they are suggesting, everything they want you to do is because they care about you. But they don't. They Don't Care About You, They Care About What You Can Do For Them. If my now ex had half a chance he would have thrown me out on the streets without a second thought after thirty years together. I found that shocking at the time as I would never have done that to him even though I didn't want to be married to him. This is a Hard Truth to Hear. If you fell in love with a narcissist the person you fell in love with doesn't exist. It was all an act to entice you into a relationship with them.
