Yes my husband looks ridiculous ๐ Justin and I hardly ever get a picture without our kids anymore so this was worth documenting! We went on a party bus with my family and some of our neighborhood friends on Saturday night! The theme was orignally 80โs night but no one really felt like dressing up, haha. Of course.... The story continues - part 3/5 . Pregnancy after loss . After I came back from Spain I decided I was going to dive into sport and spend all my focus into weightlifting. It was the healthiest way to find a distraction. At this point I had my period more regularly after the miscarriage. It was now November now and after a very emotional day, everything wasnโt going right and I had just felt off- I went to the bathroom and in my open drawer was a pregnancy test- why I decided to take it ?! I have no Idea I was in no headspace of babies at the time . I ran from bathroom to sam with tears welling in my eyes - it says โpregnantโ We both just blankly stared at one another truly not knowing how to react. Ofcourse we were happy but there was this overwhelming wave of anxiety, fear - I wasent sure I would be able to handle another loss. At that moment I was more scared than anything, and thatโs how I spent 99% of the remainder of pregnancy. Even at my last midwife appointment I was convinced I would have a stillbirth - I could not shake the association of devastation and truly be present with happiness. . A friend of mine gave me great advice, and that was to repeat โI have a healthy happy pregnancy, I have a healthy happy baby, I am healthy and happy.โ I was instructed to repeat this whenever I was feeling a wave of emotion that I couldnโt handle. Well let me tell you I had that written over every mirror in our house. I lived by these affirmations to ground me because without it I would find myself spiraling into the darkest holes that I had no way to navigate. . I was truly blessed to be pregnant and deep down I knew that but thatโs the thing about mental health. These thoughts and emotions were not a choice, and I actively had to work to be present and fight every pull of thinking of worst case scenario. . My story continues 3/5

No family, no friends, no sitters. Your husbands work full time, some work two jobs. 24/7, itโs just you mama. You are amazing and I seriously canโt praise you all enough, because Iโm that mama and I know all these feelings too well, and it is HARD. I give you praise for staying strong even when everything feels like itโs falling apart. For being patient and kind and understanding even when you literally just want to scream at the top of your lungs. For waking up every single morning and doing the same thing over and over again, when sometimes you feel like you just canโt function. For cleaning, and bathing, and cooking, and changing diapers, and picking up after little babes ALL day long, the list is endless. You are amazing and your little babes are so proud and thankful for you.๐
