After Frances’s quite inspiring reading, an impromptu performances from Oscar and I then led into the open mic portion. It was just the best to see so many poetry community and enthusiasts in attendance. (Always a thrill to see @miamipoetryclub poets perform, too.) To hear jazz at noon, meet @saintfrancess and be inspired, watch poets do their thing, all while being in one of the coolest libraries was fantastic. And yes, after hosting…I did go back to work.
