Meet Rusty! 👋🌼🧡 Look kinda familiar? Rusty is the monster sibling of Bubo, but with a few key changes made! My talented photographer friend @kaylacoleslaw loved Bubo, but his eyes aren’t safe for kids, and Kayla wanted a friend for her kiddo who arrives later this year. So I made a custom monster for her that’s entirely machine-sewn so there aren’t any eyes or teeth to pull off or chew on! Kayla picked out his fur color and also wanted a fun horn pattern. I changed the floral look of the eyes to big flowers so they could be more easily sewn on with a machine. I love him!! Thank you, Kayla, for asking me to make you a friend for your bebe. I’m so happy to have done this for you!! 🥹🥹 Strength: Protecting from other, worse monsters under the bed and in the closet Weakness: Fried pickles with ranch dip Bubo was my very last custom until November! I finished working on my day 20 prompt today (try something new), and it’s kinda perfect for today’s prompt, so you’ll get to see this cutie twice haha. This chonky monster hug was made with Baby Bee Adore-A-Ball Super Bulky, using a 15mm hook. The mini monster hugs in the next swipe are made with Baby Bee Sweet Delight yarn, using a 3.5mm hook. I can’t explain how taken back I was because she wanted to send me the box of goodies to cheer me up. No other reason. She knew I was struggling, Gemma has severe asthma herself so knows how hard it is. Hug Monster Parcels send parcels or cards to put a smile on chronically or mentally ill peoples faces ❤️ that are fighting battles daily. Gemma’s project is absolutely wonderful and she’s doing it whilst she battles chronic health conditions herself. It’s her way to give back ❤️ she comes up with her own ideas and draws the cards herself The beautiful box contains sweets, nails polish, hand cream, nail files, face masks, bath bombs amping many other little bits ❤️ It’s such a wonderful idea and has made my day.
