Travel Tuesday! . . I was suppose to be heading to Disney World in October, it cancelled our trip back in March. I am thinking of still heading back within the next year or so, nothing is for sure. . . . One thing I know is, I want my next trip to be amazing! That being said, I can save up and plan a great trip! . . . These are a couple of my Disney list resorts to stay at. I’ve never stayed at any of them, so I would love to know what you think of any of them! . . The Poly 💜 we love resort hopping to the Poly, the vibes are just awesome! We’ve never ate here, but love all the food options... and the drink options. It would be so fun to watch the fireworks from the resort! Also love the fact that we have boat access! . The Grand Floridian 💜 we love going to the Grand Floridian Cafe. We really enjoy the breakfast, and I also feel like I would enjoy Narcoossees. I also love that it’s a Monorail Resort (I’ve never stayed at a monorail resort) . The Boardwalk 💜 I would love to be able to walk to Epcot in the mornings to go to France for breakfast! And the nightlife seems like it would be so fun! That AbracadaBar looks like so much fun as well as that dueling piano bar! . The Japan Pavilion is a special place for Dan and I. ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ Today I am joining @mermaidandmouse while I am traveling through the Japan Pavilion for the #worldshowcasefromhome challenge! ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ During our first trip together Japan was one of the first countries we went to explore! We had a dining reservation at Teppan Edo. We loved being able to sit there and enjoy the company of other Disney lovers from around the world! It was such a fun experience. During on of our dinners there, it ran a little late and we did not have time to get to our usual spot for the fireworks, but we were able to have a good view from where we had dinner and it was still amazing💜⠀ .⠀ .⠀ I also loved exploring the shops and seeing all food and treats from Japan. Also watching the Japanese Taiko Drummers is a must! ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ There are some activities I can’t wait to try on our next trip. Today we are in China! The China Pavilion is amazing! There is so much to see! ✨Thirsty Thursday✨ I love being able to try new places and new drinks. Whether they have alcohol in it or not. On a nice hot day at Disney it’s so nice to have something refreshing. On our last trip it was warm enough during the day where we sat out on the patio at Baseline Taphouse and drink different beer flights. It was such a fun time and they had some great unique beers for us to try. . . . During the evening it was cool enough that a hot chocolate was perfect! We loved being able to grab a warm drink and a cookie when we got back to the resort having a long day at the parks. We would walk around the resort and just enjoy ourselves. Since I have been working in childcare and we reopened recently to essential workers in need of care for their children, I was in search of Disney masks. ✨Disney Breakfast✨ I love breakfast! I love brunching. I could eat breakfast for dinner 🥰 On our last trip we tried The Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast and absolutely fell in love. We sat out on the little wrap around patio. We were able to enjoy some morning sun, we saw the Fairytale wedding carriage go by. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast and morning mimosas. This may be a little dramatic, but I could probably go there every morning for breakfast and be so content💜 it is also nice that the Grand Floridian is part of the Monorail line as well as the resort has access to the Boats! For our wonderful breakfast we enjoyed some pancakes, waffles the eggs Benedict flight, (I like sweets for my breakfast, and my partner loves a traditional bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc.) and of course with some mimosas and bloody Mary’s 🥰 Where’s a breakfast spot that you must go to on your trip? ✨Fast Pass✨ What are some of your ‘must have’ fast passes?? . . We love Flight of Passage so we will plan our whole day around getting a flight of passage fast pass!! . . At Magic Kingdom we would definitely try to get fast passes for Mine Train (that’s a long wait if we didn’t have a fast pass) as well as Big Thunder Mountain. . . At Epcot we would get fast passes for Soarin and do single rider at Test Track! . . . Hollywood Studios we love Tower Of Terror and Slinky Dog. ✨ Rope Drop ✨ I love going to the parks for Rope Drop! Whether or not we are actually going to get on a ride right away, I love being there for the early morning excitement. Magic Kingdom is probably my favourite park to rope drop. I love being able to grab an early morning drink and walking through Main Street and just enjoying it🥰 If I am going to rope drop for a certain ride though, I’d definitely be going to Animal Kingdom for Flight of Passage! ✨Disney Pools ✨ Which resort pool is your favourite to hangout and relax at? I love spending time by the pool. Too be honest though, I don’t spend enough time at the resort though! But there was one ride that stuck out to me, a little more than others. The Jingle Cruise! The theming and decoration around the queue was incredible! I loved all the little added touches to make it a more holiday theme. It definitely made that wait time seen a lot less when I had so much to look at and discover. ✨20 days of Disney ✨ Day 17 of 20 Days of Disney! What resort is your favourite or on your Disney Dream list to stay at?? There’s something about the Grand Floridian Resort. It is so spectacular and luxurious. I have never stayed there but it is a Disney dream of mine to stay there even if it’s just for a night. Since I haven’t been able to stay there I still love resort hopping there. The Grand Floridian Cafe is perfect for breakfast out on the patio overlooking the grounds. The Afternoon Tea is such a fun experience! I am so excited to check out the Enchanted Rose. Also all the shops are very unique. So of course I booked a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! That was our first special event! It was so magical and fun! We saw the last viewing of the Parade and we loved every second of it! ✨ 20 days of Disney ✨ Day 15 of 20 days of Disney! What Disney coaster is your favourite?? There are so many great coasters at Disney World. One of our favourites though is Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom! Not only do we love the coaster but the queue for Expedition Everest is amazing! I love how it tells a story and seeing all the artifacts brought from Nepal is so cool! I love the rush feeling of a coaster and I definitely feel that on Expedition Everest going up the mountain, since it is the tallest attraction at Disney World (beating out Tower of Terror by 6inches). Who else feels that rush coming back down the 80foot mountain drop?? It also helps as it is one of a few coasters that has a single riders line. ✨ 20 Days of Disney ✨ Day 13 of 20 Days of Disney! Which bar is your favourite? We always love to check out the bars and appetizers in the parks, at Disney Springs and within the Resorts. For us there was way to many to choose from and still many on our list that we want to try. But for now my favourite park bar is the Dawa Bar in Animal Kingdom. The drinks are great and the location of it is perfect. You can sit right there and watch some entertainment in Africa! One of my new favourite bars in Disney Springs is Frontera Cocina. We got there in time for Happy Hour and it was great! They have such a nice bar inside but an even better patio outside! A couple places I’m excited to try on our next trip is the Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian, Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom and the AbracadaBAR at the Boardwalk! Have you been to any of these?? Tom Sawyer Island or the hidden areas in Morocco but I love quiet feel at the resorts at night. When we stayed at the Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs, they have these nice hammocks set up on the sand. The food was perfect, the drinks were great and the service was amazing!! We were a group of adults and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed every part of our experience.
