Day 4 - #aprilinwonderland - Creatures of Wonderland Now I will admit I found this prompt quite difficult in terms of what I wanted to interpret as creatures from wonderland. So I went for something a little different. Using @photoleap_by_lightricks I was able to create an interpretation of ‘creatures in wonderland’ according to what AI believes. The first photo I used sour worms and frogs from the @thenaturalconfeccompany with a Daisy cookie and then used the app to help me create the rest. DISNEY CHALLENGE: LE AVVENTURE DI BIANCA E BERNIE * Buon giovedì amici lettori! Come promesso, eccoci ritrovati con un nuovo appuntamento con la Disney Challenge. Siamo giunti al ventiseiesimo lungometraggio Disney "Le avventure di Bianca e Bernie", uscito nel 1977, di cui vi parliamo molto volentieri, in quanto si tratta di un film molto caro ad entrambi. Forse non sapete che il film prende spunto da un serie di libri di Margery Sharp, soprattutto da “Miss Bianca al castello nero” del 1959 e l’omonimo “Le avventure di Bianca e Bernie” del 1962. In principio la cattiva della storia doveva essere nuovamente Crudelia De Mon ma infine si decide di crearne una nuova, la spietata Madame Medusa, una sorta di incrocio tra Crudelia e la Duchessa dei romanzi della Sharp. La Disney comprò i diritti nel 1962, ma dopo qualche prova Walt Disney decise di accantonare il progetto che venne ripreso solo molti anni dopo dalla stessa squadra creatrice di “Robin Hood”, tra cui il celebre Don Bluth. Il mezzo di trasporto utilizzato dai due topini avrebbe dovuto essere un piccione ma divenne un albatros grazie ad un documentario che descriveva il loro goffo modo di decollare ed atterrare. La simpatica libellula Evinrude avrebbe dovuto essere solo un personaggio di contorno ma i disegnatori si resero conto del suo grande potenziale comico e decisero, per fortuna, di dargli molto più spazio. Per la prima volta dopo “Bambi” le canzoni principali vengono utilizzate come parte della narrazione e non dai protagonisti del film, come invece succede nella maggior parte dei film Disney. L’unica eccezione è rappresentata dalla fantastica “Rescue Aid Society” cantata dai membri della S.I.S. Some family time at Walt Disney World is EGGSactly what we needed. 🐣🌷 Two things that can really add to your Easter celebrations at Walt Disney World, are the “Eggstravaganza” scavenger hunt at EPCOT and checking out all of the decorated eggs in the different resort lobbies, like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We had a family day this past Saturday to kick off our Easter festivities and really enjoyed both! The “egg hunt” was a lot of fun as the different eggs were decorated as Disney bunnies and hidden around World Showcase. The boys always love the scavenger hunts and this was no different! After EPCOT, we made our way via the monorail to the Grand Floridian and got to see the absolute brilliance and creativity that exists with the eggs in that lobby. Favorites included Bambi, the Kakamora, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Beauty and the Beast! We also had some Easter themed treats from The Grand Cottage that sits in the lobby, which were very tasty!
