Nous ouvrons les portes des soirées du Festival CALAN D’ART avec un percussionniste et compositeur aux multiples collaborations 🪘🥁Cyril Atef. @cyrilatef Né à Berlin en 1968, d'une mère française et d'un père iranien, Cyril Atef intègre en 1984 le Musician Institute (Percussion Institute of Technologie) pour un an. Un passage par le Berklee College of Music de Boston (1989) lui permet de renforcer sa connaissance des harmonies et des bases théoriques de la musique. Après une tournée en Europe avec un percussionniste argentin (Marcello Rossi), il s'installe en août 1990 à Paris. Au fil des rencontres il joue avec Princess Erika, L'incroyable Jungle Beat, L'Orchestre National de Barbés, Cheb Mami, Aswad, Wankatao, Illouz Quintet, Garland Jeffrey, Julien Lourau, Yves Robert, Brigitte Fontaine, Alain Bashung, Nathalie Natiembé, Bernard Lavilliers, Gnawa Njoum Experience, Oshen etc….🪘🥁. En avril 1999, il fonde Bumcello en compagnie de Vincent Ségal avec qui il enregistrera sept albums. En 2006, il participe à l'album Lunático de Gotan Project @gotanprojectofficial Cyril Atef rejoint Matthieu Chedid @mathieu.chedid.officiel sur la tournée Le tour de M, et sur Mister Mystère. En 2008, il s'associe à Monsieur Cong pour former le projet CongopunQ mélange de transe africaine et d'électro groove. Cyril Atef est le batteur sur l'album Grizzly de Louis Bertignac sorti en mars 2011.
