Paris på tredje dagen - turist seværdigheder med børn🫣😆🏛️🎡 1. METRON I PARIS ER IKKE EGET TIL BARNEVOGN🚇🤯😅 Selvom metroen er en super måde at komme billigt rundt med i byen kræver det at man sætter sig ind i hvor man lige vil hen via Google Maps, da intet er angivet på engelsk nogen steder🧐 Noget andet er at der ikke er nogen elevator og sjældent rulletrapper🤯 så op og ned gennem de små tunneller med vores tre børn sammen med de 100 af vis andre - det gik godt og det var både en oplevelse og god træning for os at løfte barnevognen op og ned😅💪🏻💨 2. Små børn (ihverfald vores) synes ikke at smukke historiske bygninger er fede🏛️😆 Så vi så dem fra afstand, mens vi legede og spiste is i de mange smukke parker omkring. Her vil jeg særligt anbefale parken “Jardin des Tuileries”, med en god legeplads, skygge, små søer og smukke smukke blomster! 3. Dagen efter tog Kim på byvandring alene for at se lidt mere, mens vi andre slappede af i lejligheden og den nærliggende park “Parc des Buttes-Chaumont”🌷😉 #ParisWithKids #FamilyVacation #KidFriendlyParis #TravelingWithKids #familyadventure

💥🌳 Avez-vous déjà vu ce petit canon dans les jardins du Palais-Royal ? Je vous raconte ce qu’il fait là. ⌚☀ Jusqu’à la moitié du 18ème siècle, les habitants qui voulaient remettre leur montre à l’heure devaient se déplacer vers le cadran solaire le plus proche au moment le plus précis de la journée, quand le soleil est à son plus haut, à midi. 👩👩👧👧👨👨👧👧👫👬 Une grande foule s’agglutinaient devant le cadran solaire du Palais-Royal. 💡💥 Cela donne l’idée à l’horloger Rousseau, installé dans l’une des galeries, de faciliter la vie des riverains, en installant dans le jardin une de ses inventions, un petit canon à poudre. Celui-ci est équipé d’une loupe, qui avec le soleil, enflamme la mèche du canon et déclenche une détonation qui annonce "Midi pétante". Oui, c’est de là que vient la fameuse expression. C’était en 1786. Il arrive que de temps en temps un artificier le fasse tonner le mercredi à midi. Trop dur pour moi de devoir choisir les œuvres à commenter parmi tous les artistes exposés… alors on a laissé le hasard décider : un dé pour l’art moderne, un autre pour l’art contemporain… et hop ! Chaque enfant a réalisé ensuite son dé avec les détails de ses œuvres préférées. Plus d’une trentaine d’enfants et leurs familles ont découvert l’exposition « Small is ‘still’ beautiful » en laissant le hasard décider des œuvres commentées : un dé pour découvrir les artistes modernes, un autre pour les contemporains. Chacun a ensuite réalisé son dé en dessinant des détails de ses œuvres préférées. Un moment très convivial, rassemblant des enfants de 4 à 13 ans qui se sont prêtés au jeu du dessin avec plaisir et légèreté. More than thirty children and their families discovered the ‘Small is “still” beautiful’ exhibition, leaving it up to chance to decide which works to comment on: one dice for modern artists, another for contemporary ones. Each child then made their own dice by drawing details of their favourite works. It was a very convivial moment, with children aged from 4 to 13 taking part in the drawing game in a light-hearted and enjoyable way. Have we mentioned that dogs are EVERYWHERE in Paris? Felix here especially likes to go to pick up boba tea and on walks through Jardin Luxembourg. Dogs in Paris are generally very well behaved in our experience - you’ll see them in cafes, on the metro and basically everywhere you find people. The one thing to keep an eye out for is well, 💩. On a suivi la visite du dimanche matin, celle pour les familles (enfants 3/5 ans). Gratuite, sur réservation, c’est un parcours qui nous présente plusieurs des œuvres de l’exposition. Commencez par le dernier étage, face à l’œuvre de @bridgetpolk : Balance. “Le « rock balancing » est une pratique méditative qui consiste à empiler des pierres en équilibre. [L’artiste] mélange roches naturelles, matériaux de construction et déchets architecturaux, créant ainsi des paysages composés d’histoires hybrides, qui semblent défier la gravité. Elle doit d’abord trouver le point d’équilibre entre les pierres, qui leur permettra de rester empilées quelques jours, quelques minutes ou quelques semaines, avant de s’effondrer. Son univers entre la ruine et la formation naturelle semble tenir magiquement. First ice cream of the season! It’s still quite cold here. BUT at some point you just have to ignore it and go out for ice cream! Lucie made a request for @amorinogelato and we happily obliged. In case you don’t know this gelato shop - they do thin little scoops of ice cream and then mold them into delicate petals, making a beautiful rose shape. The shops are all over Paris (and the world actually!). Crucial Tips - Get the cone! Otherwise… no beautiful rose. - They have kids’ cones where you can choose two flavors. And that’s a WRAP on chemo!!!! I feel kind of silly posting this selfie of me with my enormous glass of green juice looking a bit worse for the wear BUT I also wanted to share this huge step with you guys, if you care to hear about it:) I can’t believe this stage of treatment is done… NO MORE CHEMO 🎉🎉🎉 it feels both like a flash and eternity. Now that’s it over I am accepting how much it sucked - while it was happening I really tried to stay positive and take it one day at a time, focusing on anything good I could find to hold onto - my hair only thinning! All the acts of kindness surrounding me! A more or less normal week between treatments… thank goodness for those normal days. Chemo was extremely tiring with a good side of nausea. There were times I literally just thought of it and threw up. It is also extremely time consuming - the shots, lab work, dr appointments and pharmacy runs were non-stop, on top of trying to live normal life. Wow… it’s a lot. That said… chemo was not as horrible as I imagined (for me at least - everyone is different!) - I had pictured three months of laying in bed miserable. Luckily, there were plenty of glimpses of normal life in there, and I am so thankful for my family and friends organizing distractions and fun events to get us through, AND for fun tours around Paris with bright and cheery families! I am also so so thankful for all of YOU! Your messages of encouragement and support meant the world to me (major ‘words of affirmation’ person here!) and I would read them when I needed a little boost. Seriously - you guys are the best and even though I don’t know most of you in person, I appreciate you so much. This is not the end of treatment for me - there are still two operations and radiation to get through. It feels very overwhelming, but for now I’ll just focus on this big hurdle being done! Photo op alert! The Palais Royale is a magical location and the very first stop on our Paris 101 Tour. It boasts beautiful 17th century architecture and exquisite gardens that were the backyard for princes and cardinals. But perhaps the most photographed area of the gardens these days is a much more recent art installation. The 260 black and white columns (“Les Colonnes de Buren” ) installed in 1986 invite you to strike a pose for a very fun photo op. And don’t worry, they vary in size so young and old can find a comfortable height to find their balance. Sophie is French, a mom of two sweeties, and has 15 years’ experience guiding all over Paris and beyond. She is so warm, fun and energetic but also extremely knowledgeable! I am SO grateful to Sophie, as she has been an ENORMOUS help to me as I navigate cancer. We actually met several years ago at a school event - Sophie had given up guiding during Covid and had started teaching English at schools. Let’s travel back in time. This pathway opened in 1730 on what used to be an old tennis court! It is also home to the oldest café in Paris #leprocope which patrol members dates all the way back to 1686! 😳 (We will HAVE to explore that on a different patrol!) Under the #secondempire Paris had about 150 passages and galeries. • 📍Atelier du pain à la Ferme de Gally, Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole - 갈리농장을 그렇게 자주 갔지만 처음 가 본 키즈아뜰리에! 나이 장벽이 가장 낮은 (3세부터 가능) 빵 만들기에 가보았습니다🌾 - 빵을 만드는데 필요한 네가지의 재료에 대해서 먼저 배우고 실습의 시간까지 한시간 정도! 애니메이션 해주시는 쌤이 너무 재밌고 이것저것 할게 많아서 시간 순삭⚡️ - 아그들이 고사리손으로 빵뎅이 흔들면서 요물조물 빵 만드는 모습이 너무 귀여워요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 다 만든 빵반죽은 발효 시간이 필요하기 때문에 집에 가지고 가서 집에서 구워먹습니다😜 오오? 기대 없었는데 맛있는그😲 - 밀 재배하면서 나온 트랙터와 콤바인 이야기에 나오는 길에 트랙터도 하나 사주고🚜 처음해보는 아뜰리에가 재밌었는지 가브리엘은 사과쥬스, 꿀, 버터, 피자, 트리.... 갈리에서 진행하는 아뜰리에게 다 가보고 싶대요ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ🔥

Let’s check out @eiffelryukishin 🥣 For drinkie Human and I started off with warm tea. 🫖 grilled green tea- now you may be asking how does one “grill green tea…” well! Rice was a component of the tea and that was grilled! Giving it a wonderful flavor. 🍜 now, Human and I shared their “Ramen Ryukishin vegan” we asked for it spicy, but it really wasn’t too hot! It was really nice and definitely warmed our tummy! 🍨 well, yes, we HAD to try their desserts. They have some really nice ice cream flavors. We got an assortment dish which was comprised of red bean, matcha and black sesame. My pawsonally favorite was the Black Sesame! • 📍Musée de l'illusion, Paris 01 - 두찌임신은 임신이고 첫째 방학은 방학이니 스케줄은 계속된다ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 요기는 파리 1구에 있는 트릭아트 뮤지엄🤩 미리 예약을 하면 줄을 1도 안 서지만 티켓이 없으면 줄이 꽤 깁니다🎫 스케줄이 매주 바뀌는 가브리엘 아빠는 티켓 없이 가서 그냥 밖에서 기다렸어요ㅋㅋㅋ - 내부는 작아서 금방 봅니다😇 사람 붐비는거 대비 사진 찍는 줄도 별로 없구 한 번 가볼만한 곳인것 같아요! 생각보다 가브리엘이 재미있어해서 다음에는 더 큰 규모에 파라독스 뮤지엄을 가보려구요🤓 - 샤틀레 근처인데 오랜만에 날씨가 좋았던 2월의 날이라 뮤지엄 > 레고샵 > 크리스피도넛 > 근처 놀이터 > 길거리 댄스파티까지 꽉채워서 놀다 들어왔어요❤️🔥 길거리에서 춤추는 너... 귀여워...🫶🕺💃
