The Skyliner is definitely my fam’s favorite transportation at Disney World. Feels more like a ride than a way to get around haha. With Drop offs to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, staying at a resort with access to this really adds some extra magic! You’ll find this sweet ride at Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach Resort and Riviera Resort. Also, even though Yacht/Beach Club and the Boardwalk Inn are walking distance to Epcot, you can use it to get to Hollywood studios too! #skyliner #pixiedustbytaylor

One of my kids favorite things about going to Disney World is hanging by the pool and doing the pool games and activities. You can easily spend a whole day by the pool and the parents will be happy 🍻 and the kids will be thrilled! Especially if you go go Disney during the very warm months, add a “no park day” to your trip! Everyone will need a break from the heat...PLUS you’ll have a great time by the pool. Today Tennison and I were in the car together by ourselves... he was quiet for awhile and then said... “I just miss Disney World....I wish we were there now...” so let me first say, I swear I’m not being that obnoxious mom that puts words in their kids mouths. However, I know how he feels.... I feel the same way. Yes, it’s a theme park... but it’s more than that. It’s a place where our family has fun all together. It meets the needs of my pool loving boys, my shopping loving girl and my extreme ride loving girl... and I love learning new things with every visit. It’s something for us all. Did you know that when you stay at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, you get complimentary unlimited express passes for your whole group? I don’t think I realized how great of a deal this is until recently when I quoted a family of 4 to stay at the Cabana Bay Resort (which is a Prime Value resort). It does not include complimentary unlimited express... so I added that on to their price. It totaled out to be MORE than it would be for them to just stay at Loews Portofino- a Premier Level resort!! One thing I constantly promote to my clients is how amazing the Disney Skyliner is. It truly is like a ride before you get in the parks haha. I swear it isn’t hot at all inside there... even in July. You can easily use this mode of transportation from Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Boardwalk and Beach/Yacht club to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and any of those resorts listed. My favorite thing is to book Topolino’s for Breakfast on your Epcot Day then take this beauty over to Epcot to enjoy the rest of the day. Chef Mickey’s ❤️ We loved the family style breakfast! Chef Mickey used to be a buffet, but with the new Covid precautions, they’ve turned it into a family style platter. My kids literally thought they were having a feast lol plus... you can celebration your birthday year round at Disney World so wear that birthday button proudly and you might just get a sweet treat at the end! Character Dining might have changed a little... no they don’t walk up to your table and sign autographs or take pictures... but they still make rounds, wave, do silly dances and interact with your kids multiple times during your meal. To be honest, character Dining always gave my mom heart anxiety because dining out with little ones isn’t always easy to begin with. They are up and down, wiggling, you’re trying to get them to eat because you know you’re paying a lot for this meal and then add characters coming up to your table every few minutes.... it’s a lot. So actually I kind of prefer this way! It is still a lot of interaction and the food at Topolino’s Terrace was 😍😍😍. Plus they give you a little signed card as a souvenir from your meal. The countdown has began for Disney World to reopen their gates. Employees have been called back... there will be new protocols and a new level of sanitation standards. I have heard many people share uncertainties about traveling right now. I too have concerns and want to make sure we keep everyone healthy and safe. The Pixies have been chatting and keeping up to date non stop during this whole reopening... we feel so solid that Disney is going to still be magical and cannot wait to see it for ourselves! So... today’s will be 🥁🥁 Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! ✨✨✨✨ Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe resort in the Magic Kingdom area. You have a convenient ferry that will take you over to Magic Kingdom. There is club level service available as well as standard rooms. The whole feel of this place has such charm... with all the feels like you’re in a cabin in the woods but with amenities and magic that only Disney can do. It is absolutely gorgeous and has one of my very favorite dining options there- Storybook Dining at Artist Point. This is where you can meet the Evil Queen!!! Or Snow White if that’s more your thing 🙄😉 The great thing about Disney resorts is that even if you don’t stay there you can still visit and enjoy the dining options at that resort! There are some things that I just don’t feel like my trip was complete unless I do... when I was little I thought the Muppets show in Hollywood Studios was hilarious. There weren’t 3D movies out in theaters so this was top notch lol.. plus I think they are hilarious and still do actually (come on.. is there a better Christmas Movie than Muppets Christmas Carol? No. There is not...tied with Elf maybe) Anyway, we watch this show every year..hollywood studios just feels incomplete until we do! Like many experiences at Disney, the queues add to the experience! I know it won’t ruin my trip because I’m pretty good planning our routes and prioritizing things to do.... which is why it’s nice to use a planner when going to Disney! ✨Favorite Disney Moments✨ Aris walked up to the Evil Queen and told her she was the fairest... but then Lyra followed and said she thought Snow White was the fairest lol 😂 ... Disney is crazy fun.. you can go go go... but sometimes your kids (and you, lets be honest lol) need a break. There’s lots of “chill spots” through out the parks if you know where to find them! One of our favorite chill spots is in Animal Kingdom. If you take a little train to the Conservation Station there is an adorable little petting zoo area. It’s quiet there... there’s shade... there’s a quiet little train ride there and back. I created a whole packet of these quiet places that I include in my itineraries when you are traveling with little ones! Fun Flashback: cue the tears 😭 during this time in Lyra’s life she was very shy and clingy to michael and I. It’s laid back atmosphere makes any crowd hating person (husband) find their peace again so that they can recharge and get back to the magic! This is why this is my “disney home”.
