Tusker House at Animal Kingdom is hands down one of my favorite character dining experiences! You can see Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy dressed in their safari gear. The African inspired food does not disappoint, it’s always on my list of recommendations!! If you’re on the fence about character dining, DO IT. It’s a great way to see characters at the park and they come to you! It makes making memories even more magical ✨

Let’s talk character meet and greets! We love taking advantage of short lines to meet characters, which was the case for my little Doughboi’s first visit in 2019. His godmother and I waited a few minutes in line, while his brother enjoyed a big kid ride. With the boys being older and prioritizing thrills, ain’t nobody trying to wait in a line to meet a character! Our family’s tip is to book character dining! We loved #tuskerhouse in #animalkingdom on our last visit! It allowed the kiddos (and DJ4) to take pictures with Mickey and the gang—all while enjoying the delicious African-inspired fare. One of my favorite things to do at Disney is Character dining and one of my favorite Character dinings would be the Tusker House at Animal Kingdom! Besides the incredible variety of delicious African inspired foods from salads to breads to chicken, fish, different meats, rice, vegetables, different kid friendly options like mac & cheese, chicken legs and corndog nuggets, and of course a large variety of desserts, one of the features is getting to meet your favorite Disney friends dressed in their Safari gear! They will greet each table, sign autographs, pose for photos and approximately every 30 minutes do a little dance around the restaurant. It is a very fun atmosphere with amazing food, great interactions and incredible service. Day 7 @waltdisneyworld exploring the wilderness at Disney’s Animal Kingdom 🦒🐘🦓🦏🦛🦍🐆 Another early start as we had a breakfast reservation at 8am for Tusker House 🧇 A safari themed character dining experience 🛖 with Mickey Mouse & Friends! The food was very nice & plentiful 😋 We I’ll definitely be back. If you are new to our Instagram, Welcome One & All 🙂 We are Sian & Marc who have just spent 23 days on our honeymoon in Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld & Discovery Cove, Orlando, Florida! It was another early start for us as we had breakfast reservations at Tusker house for 8am! Tusker House was an absolute dream, from seeing characters in their Safari costumes , delicious food options & staff that went above & beyond! We would definitely recommend 🤩 Our next stop was going on the Kilimanjaro Safari African Trek, Wow what a magical excursion this was! The tour guide was very informative & we managed to see a fair few animals , check out our Vlog to see which ones :) Festival of the Lion King was something we wanted to see so we headed there next, make sure you que up early as this gets very popular & lots of people were turned away. We then made a brief stop to DinoLand, we rode Dinosaur which is a very bumpy ride so beware lol 😂 Stopped at Dino Bites for the famous ice cream cookie which was the size of Marc’s head. The we both managed to squeeze in a beveragino from the Restaurantasouras Lounge🥂 Next we popped over to Pandora to try some of their delights on offer, the Cheeseburger Pods from Satu’li Canteen & the very tasty Night Blossom drink from Pongu Pongu.
