I created a series of posters for a board game exhibition to draw attention to a game that teaches emotion recognition through unusual situations. I decided to make some of these situations the headlines of the posters. This way, they immediately elicit a lively human response and help immerse in the experience or simply bring a smile. Also, I used abstract figure compositions I had invented earlier, associated in the game with specific emotions. In them, one can discern human faces thanks to the phenomenon of pareidolia. “Reclining head”, 8x14x5cm, 2023, dry earth and metal. Last autumn I worked for two month with metal, earth and wood. Mostly small pieces, but also a few large ones that I partly left unfinished. Again I enjoyed using the blacksmith ( but also had to spend two weeks replacing it’s motor!) With the clay I often searched for simple primitive forms. I got fascinated by how hands can naturally give shape to organic elements. As if every part of the body contained each other part, folded inside… I will gradually post photos of these sculptures.
