I have a confession to make, I bought this canvass with the leaves on it at a store. I found a few depressing pieces of “art” and thought they just needed something added over the print. I’ve done this twice, guess the other one. It’s a good quality canvass and print and has not faded over the years. Since it is mixed media I will offer it for $100 for the weekend ending 4-28. This weeks blog post on #RitualsforTomorrow shares images from the last few weeks of sessions learning to weave @rogueartists_studios The female participants did a wonderful job picking up this new challenging skill, learning to weave with yarn, grasses and ribbons over three weeks, and tassels in week one too. As part of the project, all participants received a free backstrap heddle loom to take home and continue their weaving. The lovely kits were design by artist @raisa_kabir_textiles_ in her edition with @panel_glasgow There’s a link in the blog post to where you can purchase your own loom kit. All of the weavers work will be included in the sculpture and in an open studio display in June @rogueartists_studios We are also working on some films too which I’m excited about!
