Unseen ghosts. . I’ve been trying a new practice of drawing while I meditate. This specific one was done with my eyes closed. I just picked a few colored markers that I liked together beforehand, then I just started making lines while my eyes were closed. It’s fun, and I find it helps with artist block, I like to see what I can see in the shapes I made afterwards. This particular piece I saw lots of ghosts. Then I thought it would be fun to swatch some other colors on it for a little more pizzaz. Since being pregnant, I’ve noticed that I’ve stopped having as much ‘Pizazz’ as I used to. I used to be the one wearing crazy outfits, colorful knit sweaters, crazy hair colors, but since being associated with the term “mom” I’ve turned to the dreaded neutral colors and simple outfits, following trends, wearing “mom clothes” (there’s nothing wrong with this btw, it’s perfectly fine to like these things and be attracted to simplicity) but it just isn’t me! I’ve been in a funk because I’m not letting my personality outside of my mind. So one of my resolutions for this Astrological new year is to get back to my style that made me feel unique. Anyway, a friend recently made a post about Isis and her power and it resonated with me.
