Pot Roast How goes your weekend? 🙂 I love one pot oven dishes, which gives me a chance to do other things, while it slow cooks 😉. For this roast, I used lamb stew meat, salt & pepper, garlic, carrots 🥕, potatoes, olive oil, squeeze of lemon 🍋, & cooked on 200 degrees for 90 minutes. First 60 minutes lid on the roaster on, last 30 min lid off. You can soak up the delicous gravy that forms in the pan with some bread (see next pic for the one I used from @schoon.eating) or just enjoy it on its own. Grilled Chicken with mushrooms, red onion & baby tomatoes Popping a Roast in the oven, gives me a chance to get to other things, while it cooks 😉. To a large roasting pan, I've added baby tomatoes, one red onion roughly sliced, half punnet Portabellini mushrooms, & 2 garlic cloves chopped. Drizzle with olive oil, Balsamic vinegar, roast chicken spice , salt & pepper. Bake at 180 for 60 min, leaving the last few minutes on grill. INGREDIENTS -500g margarine/Butter -3 cups of flour -1 cup of icing sugar -1 cup of corn flour(Maizena) -1 tsp of Vanilla essence METHOD In a bowl melted butter pour your cup of icing sugar mix together then mix a cup of corn flour,once is mixed add 1 tsp of vanilla essence mix together then add your flour(don’t mix all 3 cups of flour at once, mix a cup at once) until everything is well mixed.Pour biscuits dough inside your piping and start designing on your tray then bake your biscuits at 180’C for 15-18 minutes.
