Place cut side down and chop off the root and tip of bulb, peel skin off. Work slowly with a sharp knife to create the thinnest slices you can across the middle of the onion. Jar- Add the onion slices, salt, oregano, garlic powder and apple cider vinegar to a medium bowl and mix well. Transfer mix to a 2 cup measuring cup or 1 pint jar. Pickle- Place the jar (ensuring no metal parts are present!) into a microwave and cook on high power for one minute. Stir, then place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.

Originality: this salad is a pretty classic chopped, but I felt like the chickpeas were a nice protein-rich addition. You could leave out the salami for a vegetarian version. 7.5/10 2. Taste: Delicious! I made half a batch for lunch, and hubby and I cleaned our plates. I did take the suggestions to add extra lemon juice and S&P. 8.5/10 3. Texture: an important component in all dishes, but maybe more so in salads, I liked the crispy radicchio here, but would’ve enjoyed more pepperoncini and garbanzo beans. 7.5/10 4. Homemade Buschetta 🍅🧅🥖 So delicious and fragrant 🌿 I used a baguette, which I sliced up and then baked in the I oven for 15 minutes, on 180°c fan. Once it was out, I rubbed garlic all over the pieces and set aside. In a separate bowl, add fresh diced tomatoes and chop up some basil. Drizzle in some olive oil and mix together. I added oregano, chilli flakes, salt, and pepper to the mix and combine. You can also add some red onion if you like. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes, although some people leave it overnight. Take your garlic baguette slices and place them on a plate. 紫玉ねぎのマリネと福神漬け 夫が間違えて買ったのか、紫玉ねぎが2袋もあります。そんなに消費するものではないので、何か作れないかとネットで検索してたらマリネのレシピを見つけました。材料も日本にしかないような便利なものは必要なく家にあるものでできるので作ってみました。玉ねぎをスライスして塩揉みして、混ぜるだけでできるマリネ液に混ぜるだけ。塩揉みしたぢけだと皮が紫で中は白いままなのに、マリネ液に混ぜると鮮やかなピンク色になりました。 これの何がすごいって、和食にも洋食にも合うんです。 いつかは私もわからないんですが、デンマークでも紫玉ねぎの酢漬けが流行った時があったようです。でもただただ酸っぱいだけだったようです。以前値下げされていた紫玉ねぎの酢漬けを買ったことがあるんですが、すっぱすぎて食べ方に困ったことがあったので納得です。 これは酸っぱすぎず甘すぎず、ちょうど甘酸っぱくておいしいんです。夫も気に入ったようで、サンドイッチに入れてもいいね。ライ麦パン食べる時にも使えるねって言ってくれました。お昼ご飯のライ麦パンのお供にツナサラダを作って持っていたのですが、刻んでましたよ。 ーーー もう一つは福神漬け。 手軽にできる福神漬けのレシピに出会いました。少し前までは大きめの人参ぐらいの大根が400円ぐらいだったのが、最近太くて立派なものを見かけるようになりました。写真の大根は200円で買えました。 カレーには福神漬け欲しいなーと思い、簡単に作ってみました。 歯応えも良く生姜もきいていて箸が進みます。そして娘もボリボリ食べます。どうしてもお茶漬けが食べたくて市販のたくあんを買った時も、白タクワン作った時もなんですが、ボリボリ食べます。塩分が気になるのであまりあげないようにしてるんですけどね。今回はたくわんみたいに半月じゃないので欲しいと言わないかと思ったんだけど、ほしいということでお皿に入れました。紫玉ねぎは見ただけでいらないって言うのになんでなんやろー。わかってるのかわかっていないのかは定かではないですが、手で掴んでボリボリ食べてました。もっと欲しいというので、最後だよと2枚ほど追加して隠しました。 #デンマーク #福神漬け #紫玉ねぎのマリネ #denmark #pickledveggies #daikon #redonion
