I've had a cold for the past few weeks and I've kept forgetting to post but finally I've remembered on time (just about 😅) so here's some pictures from our final performance in Japan in February! We were invited to play with @satoshioto at @cafebar_bloomoon in Tokyo! It was great to see Sammy again and to be able to perform the pieces that he and @hibiki.ichikawa composed together! There was also another special guest at this show! @shujiyamagiri from @kaos_japan joined us to play their song "Sakura Kaoru", with @mochimochiakari on vocals too! Once again we had a great time at this performance so thank you to everyone involved in organising it and thank you to everyone who came, we even had some familiar faces in the audience this time as well! It's been a couple of days! TLDR: Mom is feeling grounded and we had an amazing weekend together! Mom decided we should go spend the weekend with Grandma to recharge in a less stimulating environment, and get some motherly love and advice. We even had a riverside picnic! It's important to reach out when you feel you need some help. We know how easy it is to feel like a burden, and how much weight we can take on for everyone else. Sometimes all we need is someone to help with a chore, or be a body double, sometimes we might need help moving furniture, or we need to catch a ride. Sometimes we may need to take up space and decrompress with a loved one. We understand how asking for any of these things can feel like we are a burden, or like we are too much.. But, how would you respond if a loved one asked any of these of you? I know Mom would do almost anything for her humans. 京都ベリーダンスフェスティバル4/20 先週末4/20土曜日は、 私のベリーダンスの先生である @sammy.kyoto 京都Sammyベリーダンススタジオの Sammy先生がオーガナイザーをされたイベント 【京都ベリーダンスフェスティバル】でした。 豪華なゲストダンサーの方々が来られて ガラショーもすごく素敵でした。 鳥肌立つくらい感動したダンサーさん達の 生のエネルギーに触れられて幸せでした。 私は今回、50歳のチャレンジをしよう！と 大好きな友人にインスパイアされて ポンと背中を押してもらえたきっかけで、 コンペティション初挑戦を決め、 Sammy先生はじめ 仲間や家族や周りの人たちに 色々とフォローしてもらいながら 練習を重ねて、先生と皆さんの胸を借りて 踊らせてもらえる喜びや感謝を伝える ダンスをしようと心に決めて挑みました。 おかげさまで、今回のコンペで プラチナソロ部門優勝をいただきました。 素直にありがたくて嬉しいです。 審査員の先生方、貴重なお時間の中 審査してくださってありがとうございました。 私たちのマーレマSammy先生はもちろん、 撮影の北田正明さん @masaaki_kitada 大切な家族や背中を押してくれた方、 一緒に練習できるレッスン仲間や ずっと成長を見守ってくださっている方、 受付やショップやスタッフしてくれている方々など。。。 本当にありがとうございました😌❤️ もちろん反省点も課題も たくさん見えているので （全然見えてないところが 何倍もあることもわかるので💦） ひとつひとつ教わりながら 練習も勉強もしていこう！と 背筋が伸びる思いを感じています。 いまの未熟だから楽しめることがあるのも すごく感じています。 でも好きなことで努力できることが いっぱいあるのは幸せですね。 また基礎からコツコツ練習します😌✨ 真剣に向き合ってチャレンジしたからこそ 自分の課題が具体的に見えたこと、 普段の練習への姿勢や吸収しようとする姿勢が 変わったこと、 ガラショーで活躍されている豪華ダンサーさん達の 発揮されている「個性」が今までよりも深く 感じられてきたこと、など勉強になることが 増えました！ チャレンジしてよかったです😊☘️ 本場エジプトで大活躍されている @kasumijap 木村カスミ先生のワークショップは とてもいい勉強ができて、 エジプトの話やベリーダンスの起源なども お話が面白くてグイグイ惹き込まれました。 wsダンス実践も付いていくのやっとでしたが めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。 すごくためになる楽しいワークショップを 本当にありがとうございました。 いつも尊敬している ベリーダンス仲間の友達にも めちゃくちゃお世話になりました。 ストレートな視座で関わってくれるから すごく感謝しています。 @sammy.kyoto Sammy先生には感謝が尽きません。 めちゃくちゃ美人でスタイル抜群の ベリーダンサーSammy先生は カラッと明るくて愛情いっぱいで ベリーダンス教室のスタジオはいつも 笑いが絶えないレッスンです^_^ 🌸🌸🌸 これからもご指導よろしくお願いします。 最終日に八坂さん観光のお参りにも 同行させていただきました^_^ 楽しかったです。 ベリーダンスは大好きで憧れて 習い続けている大好きなダンス。 ずっと、おばあちゃんになっても 楽しく踊っていたいなぁって思ってます。 長々とした投稿にお付き合いくださり ありがとうございました😌🌸 organizer @sammy.kyoto photographer @masaaki_kitada #kyoto belly dance festival #ベリーダンス#京都#オリエンタルダンス #Sammy belly dance studio #京都ベリーダンスショー #ベリーダンスイベント京都
