Wat geweldig om te zien dat ze ook terug vrolijk kan zijn, met plezier geluidjes ontdekt en ze telkens opnieuw probeert. We gaan weer met kleine stapjes vooruit, mijn mama hart is weer lekker gevuld met vreugde sprongetjes. We merken dat Leonie soms met haar ontwikkeling op een plateau komt als ze lichamelijk ergens last van heeft. Zoals veel tanden die tegelijkertijd doorkomen en een bacterie in haar darmen die haar veel krampen gaf waardoor al haar energie naar die daar ging en ze haar aandacht niet op veel andere dingen kan richten. Nu haar tanden allemaal komen piepen, ook die kiezen achteraan en haar bacterie in haar darmen is aangepakt door nog maar eens een rondje antibiotica schiet ze weer uit haar startblokken. Het zit er maar ze moet gewoon het padje vinden om er te komen en dat padje zoeken is elke keer anders, elke keer een uitdaging. Doe zo verder kleine kleefstra-ffe mie! We decided to do it by car even though the journey lasted 7 hours, to see the surrounding places and because it was convenient for us both economically and organizationally. It’s official, we’re moving back to the uk in 35 days ✈️ 🇬🇧 . We immigrated to the Sunshine Coast a year ago (April 29th 2023) we’ve made some amazing memories and met amazing people, we did everything we wanted, Josh started up his own business, we made friends, we went amazing places, Alaia started school, we’ve learnt a lot and we also eloped on a beach 🥹 . But although it’s been fun, there’s been so many down days you haven’t seen, so many days we’ve been questioning if this is right for us, the work for Josh has been hard to come by & it rains far more than we realised it did, which is not ideal when Josh is a roofer. Being away from friends that we’ve grown up with & being away from family is like torture. .
