The pink house has become a symbol for plum island. You know you are almost there when you can see it on the side of the road. The government gives lighthouses to trusts to take care of them when they no longer want the burden or cost. What can’t this house be given to a local trust to take care of. We need to save this iconic house just like we save lighthouses.
