As I Get Older, I Begin To Consider, More & More, If I'm Just Too Old To Do Anything More...• ° Why is it that most "dreams" are viewed as aspirations, only until we reach an age that's considered to be "too old?"• Who made this rule? Who decided it? And, why?• ° Take Eminem for example. He's 51 YEARS OLD! And, he's still considered the best at his craft. Nobody in the game can rap as fast, as cleverly, or as efficiently as him, TO THIS DAY• Now, he became famous for his talent at the age of 26. Which, is arguably, right there, at the tail end of when it's OK; in the public opinion, to still be chasing that "pipe dream." So, what if it took a few more years? And, what if he gave into society's idea that tells us, at certain ages, we need to just give in to "reality" & settle on doing only what we needa do, & give up on what we wanna do. Then, we wouldn't have the "Rap God" at all. And, not because he isn't still capable. But, only because of this irrational standard we've set for ourselves, for only God knows what reason. I've even heard arguments that say he's too old to still be doing it & needs to quit. WHY?!• If somenonee's still obviously very capable, why should a made-up, imaginary thing, like the number of years one's been alive, determine the expiration date on efforts?• It shouldn't!• Only ability should validate aspiration• ° Think about this• Moses was 80 when he confronted the pharoah & apparently, Noah was 600 YEARS OLD WHEN HE BUILT THE ARK! 29.04.2024 💜 Dearest Gentle Reader, Hello. It has been some time, has it not? I apologise. Life has been an unexpected lot, and I'm still getting through everything. Alhamdulillah either way. On a lighter note, our release date (month for now) has been fixed! June, In Shaa Allah. I'm excited but also scared. I hope you're excited, though. I really hope you are. I planned to have this book ready by May 31st. However, this year has gone in ways I never would have seen coming and I'm learning to adjust my pace rather than burn myself out while overthinking and overworking, trying to get everything ready at the same time. That meant adjusting my writing pace, too. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from. So, after a lot of deliberation and thinking, the publication month In Shaa Allah is June. The date will be announced subsequently. I'm planning for Ayra and Ayman's story to be here before Eid-el-Adha or latest by Eid-el-Adha so it'll be my Eid gift to you all, but let's see how that goes In Shaa Allah. May Allah spare our lives, Ameen. As April comes to an end and we welcome in May, let's get ready for the teasers, aesthetics, and reels. I should have some free time on my hands in a little while In Shaa Allah, and I'm ready to get started on designing. I'm excited! Is it that obvious yet?
