An impromptu concept "appeared" upon me when I was searching for something yesterday. The search led me to a few articles and while commuting to the next destination, I read them and thought I should just share it with our Circle gathering in the evening. The concept that came upon me is "Nagomi", a Japanese philosophy of life on harmony and balance. Thus, it became our prompt for last evening's SLOW WeTANGLE2gether Circle . From what I had briefly read, the Japanese philosophy of life such as ikigai, kintsugi, etc all stems out from Nagomi. It is an interesting concept yet quite deep in some ways. I will have to find time to slowly read up the book so as to better understand the concept to see how it could be applied to my own life. Juggling with different matters at this moment, there is a good reason why "Nagomi" suddenly sprung up upon me at this point. #155 - Jacked Rabbit From Today, Saturday, April 27, 2024 micron 003 pen on a 2" x 2"matboard square.(pencil shown for scale) The 155th tile after I made my wife's anniversary present. I was intimidated by this one, but took it stroke at a time and I'm pretty happy / excited with the outcome. Squiggles on a page. Small pieces. Too tired to say much more. Attended the Souls of Spirit Expos in Fargo and ate lunch at Mehl’s Gluten Free Bakery. Today, brief walk to little park, liked the way the fresh leaves rained down brightly in front of disused church spire. As I took quick photos on phone, a bird swooped by. Back home I loved how it looked like the crucifix had torn itself free from the roof. Thought of the phrase "crucifix uncrossed", a line from this song (which was really significant to my late partner and mine's relationship "beginning to end". Hardly listened to it apart from on anniversaries these last 18years, it's still...a lot, but beautifully so.) So, put today's photo with Thursday night's moon through my rainy window, which I snapped just before bed saying "oh, Sorry I didn't notice you tonight!" note to self: Go firmly to the window, drink it in...🎶which is sorta what I'm doing with quick park wanders and the like, even when I come home mad that I didn't "do" more (of what?!
