Man, hard to believe that 10 years ago this morning I lost someone that I just figured would always be right by my side or just a phone call away. I stand here this morning with so many amazing memories that flood my heart and mind. It’s hard to believe that 10 years have come and gone. For me, it has not gotten easier, I have just learned to connect with you on a spiritual level which has healed me throughout the years. I have been so blessed to have been able to have you right by my side these past few years. There has been much change in my life over the last few years and I have to admit that I use to feel so alone at times.....but then I feel you wrapping your arms around me and reminding me that I will be OK. I also have felt that foot of yours up my butt letting me know I have sat around and cried enough and to get off my tale and make the changes that I have needed to make for years now so that I can live the 2nd part of my life happily and full of love! I know you look down from Heaven and see all the amazing things that have happened in the last few years. Just know that you are a Great Grandma again, 3 boys now and that both of your Grandchildren are missing you too and are doing so amazing in life! I have such an amazing man in my life now Moms and I no longer feel alone. He has been such a blessing to me! I know you have been up there in Heaven putting in work for us all! Thank you Moms! As Easter comes around it begins a whirlwind of emotions for me. My OG Egun is on my mind so heavy. How has 10 years come and gone?! My Moms loved Easter. She loved to come over to dinner and she loved putting her homemade Easter baskets together for my kids when they were young and then her Great Grandson after he was born. Next rough one is April 5th, the day she left this earth and became one of my strongest Eguns of my life. Then comes her Birthday on the 24th which is just a few weeks later and right after that, Mothers Day! Well, let’s just say the next few weeks will not be easy, but I know that in my heart she is always there by my side. She has helped me get through these last few years and she stands beside me now with a huge smile on her face as she sees how happy I am today in my personal life and I know she would love my Hubby @robbatey SO much!
