Seit 6 Monaten steht Corney jetzt schon…🤍 und immer wieder bekomme ich Komplimente wie brav er ist. Ja, natürlich liegt das auch in seinem lieben Charakter und ich weiß das es auch schwierigere Pferde gibt… ABER ich gebe auch mein bestes um ihn so gut wie möglich durch diese Phase zu bringen. Wie ihr in unseren Storys immer seht machen wir wirklich ganz viel Bodenarbeit. Denn ein Tier welches im Kopf ausgelastet ist, wird immer händelbarer sein, als eines was nur körperlich ausgelastet ist. Egal ob Hund oder Pferd. Kopfarbeit ist wichtig. Das machen wir ja im Endeffekt beim reiten auch. Stumpfes longieren oder laufen lassen würde unsere Tiere auf Dauer nicht gut beschäftigen. Zudem hat er natürlich in seinem Stall jetzt die optimale Lösung für seine Verletzung: Er steht jeden Tag draußen auf seinem „kleinen“ paddock mit Wasser und Heu. Zusätzlich darf er jetzt noch ein kleines Stück abgrasen und nachts hat er seine Paddockbox🥰 Und zu guter letzt: Ich unterstütze ihn auch in der Fütterung bestmöglich! Seit Beginn seiner Pause bekommt er nämlich das „Nervenstärke Pulver“ von @annimally_official 🤍 Keine Angst, das ist kein typisches Beruhigungsmittel sondern sorgt lediglich für Starke Nerven und hilft Corney so optimal. Auch als wir ganz viel auf Auswärtstrainings waren hat Corney das damals schon immer bekommen. Durchhalten heißt es …❤️🩹 Ganz brav macht Corney sein schonprogramm und benimmt sich dabei wirklich vorbildlich. Wenn ich ihn im Schritt um mich rum zirkeln lasse ist er noch nicht einmal losgeschossen oder so🥹 Ich versuche hier seine Konzentration durchgehend bei mir zu halten in dem ich ihn dann über die Distanz immer wieder anhalte, seitwärts oder rückwärts gehen lasse. Das hat er schon komplett raus und ist manchmal sogar etwas übereifrig 🫶🏼 Frei lasse ich ihn aber natürlich nicht, denn falls er sich doch mal erschrickt oder so möchte ich ihn so schnell wie möglich wieder unter Kontrolle haben wegen seinem Fuß. Insgesamt bin ich wirklich sehr stolz auf ihn. Heute hat er sich sogar auf Kommando 2 mal hingelegt🥹 er bleibt zwar noch nicht komplett ruhig liegen aber es wird. Den nächsten Termin in der Klinik hab ich heute auch vereinbart… Ende Mai geht’s wieder ins MRT. This is the stupidity that Libraries across the country are dealing with. This is called a Statement of Concern, where patrons can voice their concerns over a book. Then the Library Board of Control decides on the fate of the book. I saw this when looking at our Library Board of Control meeting agenda tonight. This particular book can be found in the YA section meaning, it is for teenagers. Parents decide what their children can check out (we have different library card levels they choose from - restricted/unrestricted/semi restricted). What part of the cover is obscene? Total Texas Eclipse Episode 5 "Whataburger" Hold onto your bolos and hang up your hat, this is going to be a bumpy ride... This was on our American fast food list to try but California doesn't have Whataburger. Texas however had plenty of them, so we gave it a go. The menu was pretty basic, nothing too fun or fancy and also pretty cheap. They offered added malt to your milkshakes (just like Shake Shack) so we made sure to try this out. I don't know if it was because we chose an ambitious flavour (Dr. Pepper) but the after taste was so odd, like licking a cherry flavoured cigarette. Maybe malt is best with chocolate milkshakes? The fries are supposed to be similar to McDonald's fries, but measured up closely to the kind of McDonald's fries you forget in your car overnight and decide to eat them the next morning. The signature Whataburger sauce was supposed to be similar to a Chick-fil-A sauce, a creamy mustard-y light bbq flavour. It was okay, but the fries were throwing me off. Their burgers were so dry and somehow the buns are so aesthetically unpleasant it's almost as if someone sat on them and then threw them in a display case to demonstrate that preservatives don't age them after 5 years. The chicken patty breading however had a nice flavour of spice, but again...so dry. We did notice that the vegetables inside were really trying to carry the weight by being somewhat fresh. The melt (and classic cheese burger) had a really sad flat beef patty that almost tasted as if it were from a TV dinner meal or gas station burger. Something wasn't right. A lot wasn't right. The burger ain't right at Whataburger. Perhaps the worst fast-food restaurant I've ever tried. What the actual F was that y'all. Heute morgen aus dem Fenster geschaut und was seh ich da…Schnee. Dicke fette Schneeflocken 🥲 kein Schnee der liegen bleibt, aber trotzdem ! Ich weiß es ist April, aber ich war schon so ready für den Sommer, ich hatte bei 26 grad meine Tops ausgepackt und hatte schon den ersten Sonnenbrand… und zack heute 3 grad und Schnee. Auch für unsere Tiere ist das ganzschön anstrengend, Corney hat doch schon recht viel Fell abgeschmissen und braucht jetzt wieder seine Decke. Pferde…🤬 Manchmal weiß ich einfach auch nicht mehr weiter 🙃 Ich wollte euch heute eigentlich noch ein neues Teammitglied 🐴 vorstellen, aber: Ich hab den Herren fertig gemacht, laufe grade mit ihm die stallgasse entlang nach draußen und denk mir so… irgendwas stimmt da nicht. Ja, lahm 🙃 Nichts warm, nichts dick,… es war auch nicht so richtig ein Bein erkennbar. Für mich sieht das aus als hätte er sich im Rücken was eingeklemmt oder verrissen. Traben wollte er garnicht wirklich… Aber für mich war klar, da setze ich mich heute nicht drauf. Es gab nichts was ich jetzt tun hätte können, die Besitzerin ist informiert und jetzt sehen wir mal vielleicht ist es morgen schon besser. Ansonsten muss doch der Tierarzt kommen🙃 Ich bin durch Corney da ja etwas geschädigt und bei der kleinsten Veränderung im gangbild leuten bei mir schon die Alarmglocken 😅 An sich natürlich gut, in dem Fall auch absolut richtig. The people around here made a big hoopla about something happening in the sky this afternoon. Mom came home from work, friends came over, everyone kept looking up through silly looking paper glasses … and I ran away with a cardboard box.
