Kontenjanlar sınırlıdır. Başlangıç 3 ve üstü Lindy Hop dansçılarına yöneliktir. Frankie Manning'in 1930’lu yılların sonlarına doğru hazırlandığı düşünülen First Stops rutini, Lindy Hop'un köklü geçmişinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Jimmie Lunceford'un "For Dancers Only" şarkısından ilham alarak oluşturulan bu rutin, dansın ritmiyle mükemmel bir uyum içindedir. 🌟We’re very excited to announce our first fabulous teacher… Susie! @susiepolly @nickandsusie Susie has been dancing her whole life, having 15 years of classical Ballet and Jazz training, and studying theatre and dance at university. She took her first Lindy Hop class in 2008 while still at uni, although it was a couple of years before she became obsessed. She has been teaching Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz for more than 10 years in both Brisbane and London. Career highlights include dancing with London’s Brat Pack, teaching London’s advanced troupe the Skyliners, working with, and competing alongside, incredible dancers, and even dancing in a big-budget film. Susie still loves to dabble in many dance styles as it gives her a greater appreciation for movement and musicality, and encourages thoughtful choices in her dancing. She believes that dancing lives in the grooves and flow, and she aims to imbue her classes with solid rhythms and quality of movement while remaining true to the roots of the dance. Lindy Hop Lindy Hop ist ein Paartanz, der zu Swingmusik getanzt wird. Er entstand in den 30er Jahren in Harlem, New York. Dieser Tanz ist ein Lebensgefühl! Er ist fröhlich, wild und lässt viel Raum für Improvisiation. Lasst euch mitreissen! St. Louis Shag In den 1930er-Jahren am Westufer des Mississippi entstanden und vor einiger Zeit auch in Luzern zu einem Lieblingstanz geworden! St. Louis Shag ist ausgelassen, fröhlich, schwungvoll, ein bisschen wild und zugleich auch smooth… und macht einfach richtig viel Spass. Waacking Waacking wird meist zu Disco Musik getanzt und zeichnet sich durch seine linearen und choreografierten Armbewegungen und Posen aus. Da wir in unseren Swing-Tänzen stark auf die Schritte fokussiert sind, wird den Armbewegungen entsprechende wenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt.
