Unfurl! 🌿🌀 I used my brayer here to ink a swordfern frond with white screen printing ink and pressed it onto the fabric. I'm always very selective when I gather plants for art - I listen for the ones that want to be chosen, and tell them about my plans. I'll usually leave a strand of hair behind as well if I remember, so that I'm not a stranger. What a wonderful day! All day I got compliments on my coat from random lovely people on the street and at the wool festival. I got myself the most gorgeous Sheila Fleet ring, which I adore how well it pairs with my wedding ring and tattoo 😊 And then there way @woollygoodedinburgh , oh my! It was such a fantastically organised event, everything was taken into consideration and the vibe was perfect. There are just no people like woolfolks, I so love this community 💞 Even if you're on your own and from a different country, you can just sit down at any table and be taken in, and squeal about everybody's yarn haul 🥰 I absolutely bankrupted myself already on this first day 😅 so it's a good thing that tomorrow a good chunk of my day will go to listening to the regenerative farming lecture 😜 I got goodies from so many fantastic vendors, it was absolute yarn addict heaven!
