🏃♀️🍝The past couple of weeks I’ve been running with the @sugotoronto @bar_sugo team. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ The runs have come in perfect timing as I’ve been preparing for a 10km run (@runforwomen in Markham) at the end of the month. I’ve run 10 km, but this race is really special to me. The last time I took part in a race was 10 years ago. I was in my “party” phase - staying up until 9am in the morning partying, smoking, etc. To be honest I don’t know how I finished the race. This will be my first race since! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m so proud of myself for making those decisions 8 years ago to change my lifestyle. I’m so proud of myself for choosing focusing on my health!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ These runs have been incredible seeing the team cheering each other on and support one another before, during, and after the runs. Not only that but seeing Conor promoting a healthier lifestyle within the restaurants. Thank you Conor + Team for welcoming me in! Looking forward to next week!!🏃♀️🍝❤️

Enjoyed some delicious Italian cuisine with a couple of friends this evening. Yes, we ventured out to Sugo restaurant located near Lansdowne Subway Station in the west end of Toronto. The restaurant is smallish, but nice & cozy. Because the food here is great, and it's the weekend, we waited for exactly 2 hours before we got our table. But luckily, there's a Tim Hortons coffee shop just down the street from Sugo where my friends & I sat for a couple of hours, shared some stories & laughs to past the time as we didn't feel like venturing out too far in the dreary drizzly weather. But anyhow, as soon as we got our table 2 hours later, the food came in pretty fast, within about 20 minutes. I ordered the gnocchi, which was delicious. My friend Celine ordered the pomodoro. My friend Faiza ordered the rigatoni. All those dishes also tasted fantastic. And the tiramisu was absolutely tasty. So all of this was worth the 2 hour wait time. What’s even in this?? Crack?? Probably. @dguison and I had a mini third-life crisis cuz we wanted pizza, but I also wanted rigatoni and a meatball and she wanted chicken parm, but then @gdishot didn’t want pizza and then she decided she did want pizza… whatever, in the end we all got to eat everything. I got my rigatoni and the big ass meatball and it was HEAVENLY. We also shared the pizza special, which was a pesto pizza with pistachios, whipped ricotta, and mortadella. I didn’t think I liked mortadella but DAMN THIS PIZZA WAS FREGGIN’ BOMB MAN. Low key I think @bar_sugo has my fave pizza I think I like it better than Badiali’s. — T O R O N T O — @jocemalyn and I went on a date to @bar_sugo this week and it was a beautiful experience 🥲 Y’ALL. LOOK 👀 AT THIS GOSH DARN BEAUTIFUL CREATION OF A PIZZA PIE. Bar Sugo is @sugotoronto ‘s little sis located right next door! They serve all of Sugo’s best pastas, but also has a selection of fire-oven pizzas that look amazing 😍 and has a more modern restaurant-y vibe. We got to the restaurant right at opening at 5pm (actually made it for 4:52pm) to make sure we got a table, and the door was open, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful early evening! We shared the Little Manila pizza, which was so delicious. The dough was chewy (my fave kind of pizza dough) and the toppings were like a party of every flavour in my mouth. We also got a creamy garlic dip (I have to have dip with pizza!) and it was heavenly. We also shared a rigatoni but that deserves its own post!
