How do your kids ‘see’ you? Of course, they see their Dad But what do they actually see when they look at you? Your kids perception of you is so important, after all - you are their dad. Their hero. If you want your kids to follow in your foot steps and ‘be like you’ then it might be time to actually give them a good role model to follow Unless you want your kids to suffer a life of poor health and ‘can’t be bothered attitude’ then you need to be their guiding light If your kids see you exercising, there is a good chance they will want to too If they see you eating actual food, they are more likely to give it a go If they feel your love and presence on a regular basis, they too will understand what love is YOU as dad have the chance to put an amazing human out into the world.
