Months ago I received at home an Anthurium forgetii, it was quite big with many leaves. After few days it lost all the roots and the leaves became brown and dried. Then I cut off everything of it except the little stem and placed it in a plastic cup with tree fern, perlite and a little sphagnum. Blijft leuk toch, een avocado pit ontkiemen? Ik eet eigenlijk nooit avocado's (iets met duurzaamheid), maar heeeel soms koop ik er eentje om te eten en daarna te laten ontkiemen. Ze verraden zichzelf vooral, omdat ze graag rondom je planten en boven je potgrond zijn, maar ze vliegen ook wel eens op andere plekken in je huis (of heel irritant, precies voor je gezicht!) Ik vertel je graag wat je tegen deze vliegjes kunt doen en deel ook nog wat tips voor de preventie van een nieuwe infectie. Protection II - Tender Embrace It’s not an expansive and awe-inspiring vista, a big imposing mountain, or a wide open plain. It’s smaller, quieter and far less visible than any of those. But this little moment in the woods, where the new young fern leaf gently protected the tender bluebell from the impending rain shower was perfect and I just had to share this capture. Two of my favorite plants and special to me! This was my first hybrid I made! Only produced two viable seeds and both are very different from each other in shape. This is my SKG ace of spades x a pure Papp from Lincoln Park Conservatory! —First pic is the largest, second is a leaf closeup! Third is my second plant with weird growth, 4th is my momma ace leaf, and last is the Papp from the conservatory! Very grateful to have been able to collect pollen from their private collection. Hope to donate one to them soon from stem cutting. Gonna keep posting pics of these I swear.

She’s gone all pink! 🌱 a good example of how sporadic PPP can be sometimes! When I chopped this one down, all the leaves were almost completely only green. It came back with a surprise!

A simple try at using watercolor to paint a person. Idk why, but I imagined this as maybe a loose interpretation of Eve, from the Bible? Or not! Haha up to you what you see! Either way, I was pretty happy with how it turned out!
