GARDEN GRILL REVIEW!💚 This was the first time I’ve ever eaten at Garden Grill and it definitely lived up to the hype! 👩🏼🌾Garden Grill is located in The Land Pavilion which is the building that houses Soarin Around the World. It is a character breakfast where you get to meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale! 🛶Fun fact about this restaurant: it SPINS!! Now you can’t really feel it unless you think about it and look at the wall, but you get to see different scenes of the Living with the Land ride thats just downstairs! There really isn’t a bad seat in the house! 🍞Firstly they bring out bread that is warm and soft, to the point that we demolished it before I could snap a pic! Oh and also… they have POG JUICE!!!!🍊They even have POG Juice mimosas🍾 if you want to start your drinking around the world in the Land Pavillion⛰️ 🍴Back to the skillet, Garden Grill is a family style restaurant so you get a skillet full and can ask for seconds, thirds and fourths of whatever you’d like (unlimited Mickey Waffles people!!!) 🍳The scrambled eggs are my personal favorite style where they’re almost crumbly but still very moist. 🥓The steak was cooked very well however if you like well done this may be too pink for you, but the bacon was nice and crispy! 🥔As far as the potatoes, the first round was amazing since I like the potatoes in my cheesy potato casserole to be baked to be very soft. One of the best things we did at Florida last year was partake in a character breakfast at Epcot's Garden Grill restaurant. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and it was soooooo soooooo good! The breakfast was amazing, especially the cinnamon bread, oh god, that was absolutely lush! Food aside, the character interactions were all brilliant, and we met the characters all multiple times while in attendance. Random as heck, but here’s a quick tip if you’re going to watch Awesome Planet! 🌎 🌍 🌏 🌎 🌍 🌏 🌎 🌍 🌏 🌎 🌍 🌏 🌎 🌍 🌏 • First a bit of background… Awesome Planet is a 10 minute film that showcases the beauty of Earth and its many different ecosystems. This show is located on the 2nd floor of the land pavilion, which is the same floor from which you enter and exit the pavilion. When approaching the theater, there are a few doors that you can use to enter. It doesn’t really matter which one you take, you can get to any part of the theater from any door. This is not the same story when you exit… You’ll be exiting through the right side of the theater once the film has ended. There are 3 doors, but not every door is equal. The highest door, at the back of the theater is the only door that will lead you to the 2nd floor. The other 2 doors will lead you to the 1st floor. This is why I like sitting towards the back of the theater, because if you’re on the 2nd floor, you’re much closer to the Land Pavilion exit. When exiting the theater, leave through the top door if you want to exit the Land Pavilion or go to Garden Grill… or watch the show again 🤷🏽♂️. Leave through the 2 lower doors if you want to head to Soarin’, Living with the Land, or the Sunshine Seasons food court.

Spotlight Saturday: Soarin' 🛩️🌎 ~ Every showing can hold as many as 87 people at a time ~ Guests are placed into one of three preshow areas called Alpha Gate, Bravo Gate, and Charlie Gate ~ Airport-themed spiels referring to "Flight 5505" are a homage to the attraction's opening day. (May 5th, 2005) ~ The scenes in Soarin' Over California were actually kind of staged. Disney "planted" surfers, snowboarders and more in the scenes. The Land Pavilion was one of the original pavilions present when Epcot Center opened on October 1, 1982 … but the original concept was vastly different An Agriculture Pavilion was present in plans for Epcot from a very early stage. As things began to solidify, the pavilion would shift focus to emphasize Earth Ecosystems The Land was to have contained seven different crystalline structures, five of which would each contain a different natural environment; The Blueprints of Nature, an overhead-track balloon ride where guests got blown “off course” by a snowstorm, then followed the lifecycle of the snow as it melted, became water and eventually evaporated Blueprints of Nature would begin with a carousel theater show introducing the pavilion’s host, a character named the Landkeeper Plans were scaled back and an Agricultural and Nutritional sub-theme was established when Kraft picked up sponsorship of the pavilion. Have you ever been to Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavillion? We love their Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie for 4.29$. It's super light and not overly sweet. We also tried the seasonal peppermint snowman milkshake because it was too cute to pass up after seeing the picture. It was subtly minty and had really tasty cool whip like whipped cream. I don't know if it was just us, but we felt slightly awkward and confused ordering here. There didn't seem to be any clear directions or order. I'd say it was worth the mild anxiety it induced, though! Do you think we should try some of the savory options here?

After 7 months of work, the first major update to the EPCOT Center Ultimate Tribute has been released! You can find the new download at the link in my bio. It is also available on the mcpedl.com page. A major thank you to everyone who has continued to follow me these long months as I continue to build this park from the virtual ground up. Your support for this project has significantly helped me continue building what I believe to be the single greatest theme park ever created. The biggest update that can be experienced is the addition of over 35 animated figures to the Universe of Energy, which has turned an already spectacular attraction into a must-visit on the map!
