I usually try to like something about food that I eat, no matter if I make it or if I eat at a restaurant. I really really tried with this one but I couldn’t do it. I went to @hidalgosmoore for lunch and their chips tasted like the oil in the fryer hadn’t been changed in a while. Their food tasted like plastic. You know that burnt plastic smell from your dishwasher? That’s what it tasted like. I only had a bite of my tamale and a bite of my enchilada and called it good. I will say that their rice was really good, their sweet tea was good, and the service was outstanding! #mexicanfood #thesavorysooner

My birthday dinner @mahoganyprimesteakhouse was absolutely perfect! The staff was so welcoming and everyone told me happy birthday! The French onion soup is AMAZING!!! My filet mignon was so tender and juicy that I could cut it with my spoon. The bernaniese (spelling) sauce was so rich it added that something extra to my steak! The porterhouse was cooked perfectly as well! The green beans weren’t mushy they had just the right amount of crispness to them! I got creme brûlée for dessert with fruit and it is one of the best ones I’ve ever had! They even gave me a birthday card and a small box of chocolates.
