✨Exciting life update! ✨ . On January 3, 2021, I started on a low dose of Testosterone! I am now 2.5 months on T! Going on Testosterone has been something that I had been considering and thinking about heavily for years. I knew that this is something that I wanted and needed for my journey, but I was also nervous (I’m pretty much anxious about everything 🤷🏻♂️). Every Sunday now (shot day!) I feel excited and grateful. I know that not everyone who wants hormones is able to access them. I am blessed to be able to access a trans competent primary care doctor. . Also- a friendly reminder that there is not one way to be trans or non-binary. Some folks choose hormones and some don’t. Some folks choose surgery and some don’t. Trans folks are valid no matter what their decisions about their body are! 🏳️⚧️ . I am excited about this next step in my journey! Thanks for following along. Loving the weather lately. Loving the way my beard is coming in. May will mark my 5 years on testosterone. I thought I was done with most of my changes, but this last year I’ve not only gained a lot of body/facial hair, I’ve gone up another size. Pre testosterone, I was about 125lb and wore an extra small in masculine clothes. Now I’m closer to 200 lbs, and my mediums are starting to burst at the chest/sleeves. I have barely worked out and have mostly worked from home these passed two years, so it’s definitely not from hitting the gym. So many big changes that I’m grateful for and it’s all thanks to testosterone and my family genetics.

My life has always been a wild roller coaster ride and I can only take it one day at a time. We all go through our own private struggles and no ones struggles tops the other because we all deal with our #struggles differently. Dealing with severe #Depression and #Anxiety and #GenderDysphoria is nothing I’d ever wish onto someone. It’s a struggle getting out of bed sometimes and now that I’m 2 months into restarting #HRT #HormoneReplacementTherapy things have been even more wild and crazy lol but I’m happy and that’s what really makes it worthwhile! I finally feel like I’m in my real skin again and that I’m able to be my warm and happy self again. Not having the #hrt for almost 2years took a huge toll on me and my confidence and self love but we are constantly growing and becoming more comfortable and more confident with myself again. Of course I still have struggles but they are only there for me to overcome and show myself and everyone who Trista truly is!
