Heyyy guys 👋🏻 We’ve been very quiet on here lately so just wanted to hop on and say a proper hello 🥰 how we all doing?? If you don’t know, we’ve been living on Moreton Island (Queensland, Australia) for the past 3 months, living and working in the resort here. We absolutely love island life and living on the beach is such a dream for us! But honestly aside from our trip to Uluru, we have mostly just been working as much as we can and enjoying the calm of island living on our down time. This mostly looks like spending lots of time doing yoga, going for ocean swims, reading, going for beach walks, writing, and hanging out with our friends here 🥰 it really is a lovely little life! Anyway here’s some shots from the island. We actually really need to get some new ones of the two of us together here haha We are soooo excited to be going on a little trip at the end of next week to somewhere we’ve wanted to go for yearsssss!!! More on that later 🥰 You guys know we have loved making travel content on here but always find it hard to keep posting when we have a base somewhere, but we’re still loving keeping up with what you’re all up to! Behind the scenes we’re still wedding planning and also prepping for our next big move coming up in July - very exciting stuff! They (mostly Memphis) will try to smother you and your furry friend with love (and slobber). Do not be alarmed. They are as friendly as they are large. 2. We ask that your furry travel friend remains on their leash while you’re here. There is a park next door if they need to do their business, please pick up after your fur friend. 3. Pets are, unfortunately, not allowed in either of our dining rooms. We have plenty of pet friendly seating out the front, in the bar, or in the beer garden. Service dogs excepted. 4. Pets are allowed on Courtesy Bus, leashed please. 5. If your pooch dislikes crowds or other dogs, we may not be the venue for your fur friend. We love all pets equally, but the venue can quite often have numerous dogs, a large crowd, and be too loud for some dogs with our entertainment. 6. We reserve the right to ask folks to leave if there actions or their pets are not conducive to the enjoyment of other patrons. Week 13 ⛱️🐄 📍 Agnes Waters to Boynedale Valley, central Queensland 🚙 120km ⛺️ 3 nights low cost @hipcampau, 4 nights free camp Another amazing week exploring @queensland! We headed to the coast to visit Agnes Water and 1770 after hearing so much about it and weren't disappointed. Whilst less developed than other seaside communities like Hervey Bay it is absolutely worth the trip. We bunkered down in the Boynedale Valley in hope to avoid the long weekend crowd with little luck - we watched the campsite go from 6 other camps to nearly 50 by Thursday PM. Glad we got there early and a prime spot overlooking the lake and valley. A spectacular few hours spent at Underground Creek in Girraween NP 💚🥾🪨🌳 just 15 minutes from Loughmore.
🐔🚌 ‼️IMPORTANT COURTESY BUS INFO‼️ 🚌 🐔 DID YOU KNOW?! We have a courtesy bus that picks you up AND drops you home?? STUBBY BEND FREE CAMP: 4:15pm daily TAMBO CARAVAN PARK: 4:45pm daily DROP OFF: from 7pm every night Now, there are four things…. 1️⃣ If the bus looks like it’s leaving your pickup spot, and you’re not on that bus, don’t panic! WE WILL BE BACK! That just means the bus is full, and we will come back until there is no one left. 2️⃣ Drop offs will not be until 7pm OR LATER. We need our staff to help us get through the dinner rush, so we won’t be able to drop home before 7pm. There is a big red clock in the bar that we run by, if you’re not sure what the time is. 3️⃣ You don’t have to get on the bus at 7pm! If you want to stay later, that is more than ok with us. Just let the bar staff know when you’re ready, and they will get someone into it quick smart. 4️⃣ We welcome pets on the bus! But they must be leashed, or appropriately restrained, during the drive. 🐕 🦮‼️ PETS ‼️🐕 🦮 We welcome pets of ALL SHAPES AND SIZES! But please note: 1. We have 2 very large, very friendly pub dogs. Their names are Sue (black dog) and Memphis (brown bag of wrinkles). They (mostly Memphis) will try to smother you and your furry friend with love (and slobber). Do not be alarmed. They are as friendly as they are large. 2. We ask that your furry travel friend remains on their leash while you’re here. There is a park next door if they need to do their business, please pick up after your fur friend. 3. Pets are, unfortunately, not allowed in either of our dining rooms. We have plenty of pet friendly seating out the front, in the bar, or in the beer garden. Service dogs excepted. 4. Pets are allowed on Courtesy Bus, leashed please. 5. If your pooch dislikes crowds or other dogs, we may not be the venue for your fur friend. We love all pets equally, but the venue can quite often have numerous dogs, a large crowd, and be too loud for some dogs with our entertainment. 6. We reserve the right to ask folks to leave if there actions or their pets are not conducive to the enjoyment of other patrons. Our boys, Sue and Memphis can’t wait to welcome you and your furry friend! WOW! This place is amazing, camping in the rainforest just opposite a crystal clear creek….this is living!! High clearance four wheel drive recommended (on the signpost) as the road going in has 2 creek crossings. There’s toilets and non-potable water but that’s it.
