I finished up the other three knights. The black knights look particularly bad ass. I’m still cleaning up and finishing the black pawns but damn… those old lifters are completely saturated in oil, ingrained in the steel; I think I’ll have to bake them hot enough to cook out all traces of oil before I can eliminate the porosity because soaking in hot solvent for days certainly didn’t penetrate deep enough.
