🧚🏻🪄First time at POP Century Resort… here is my honest review.🧚🏻🪄 *Disclaimer: this is my personal OPINION. This is not to express hate or to create an argument. Just want to give insight as a first timer staying at POP. I’ve stayed at 6 other Disney hotels and am a Disney TA so I like to share my experiences.* First impressions: I was BLOWN away by the theming and cast interactions. They were truly some of the sweetest Disney cast members I have EVER met. Loraine was the cherry on top at the front desk. Made my whole trip. Grounds were immaculate like all Disney resorts, and the theming just made me smile non-stop. I was impressed by the pool sizes, arcades, ping pong tables, family events, and how spacious the layouts were🪀🎳👾 Likes: I requested the 60s building to be close to the Skyliner and the location was PERFECT. Close to the pool and lobby/dining but also the Skyliner. Again, loved the detail and theming. Even the golf carts were designed to replicate old cars. I liked the room although small, it had everything you needed🏓🎮🍔 Dislikes: The paper.thin.walls…..🤦🏻♀️. Now, I’m sure here is where most people will roll their eyes and say “what does she expect at a motel style value resort” and you’d be right. It never even crossed my mind. Until I tried sleeping at 11:30 PM. I could hear every word of the couple next door. The kids in the room on the other side of me, every flush/sneeze/screetch/ etc. if my 5 year old son had been with me, I would have had to put headphones on him to get him to fall asleep Overall Score: 🌟7/10🌟 Dispite the noise and the food, the theming, location, amenities, cast members, and price made up for it. I see why people come here and stay over and over again. Day 3 Art of Animation check in! We took an Uber ride from Universal to this super fun value resort and we were just so excited to arrive onto Disney property! This resort is an amazing way to to fully immerse yourself in all the Disney vibes! ✨ Full of bright colors and classic Disney movie theming, it is so fun just to be in the main lobby for check in and there is so much to look at. 👀 🎨 They play Mickey short cartoons for your kids while you are checking in, have a very large food court with something for everyone, a fun arcade and an absolutely enormous pool. And possibly the very best amenity here is direct access to the skyliner! 🚡 We had a family suite in the “Cars” section that had 2 bathrooms and 3 beds, and is perfect if you want a little more space. We also needed to do some laundry by this point, and took advantage of their convenient laundry room right next to the pool. They also had ping pong and an “ocean” cave structure for younger kiddos. The cast members are SO kind and want to help you have a magical stay. They happily helped us with magic band problems, moving luggage around and other things that came up. This place was such blast and totally got us into Disney mode which was perfect since the next day was Epcot/Flower and garden festival! 🎤🎸 POP CENTURY 🚡POP has the best value of any value resort! The Skyliner adds an extra level of convenience! The rooms are modern & clean. The theming is super fun! And the price is reasonable.(Especially with a promotion) If you’re a family of 5 or more, getting two rooms here can be a nice option too! 🍎🍎When comparing Pop Century to the other value and moderate resorts, it is one of the most convenient. It is located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and not too far from Magic Kingdom, so the bus ride times are reasonable. It also only has one bus stop and doesn’t share its busses with another resort, meaning less time wasted picking and dropping off other guests. The Classic Hall, with the lobby and food court, is centrally located and an easy walk from any of the rooms. Adding to the convenience is that all but one of the housing sections have a pool right there!
