Magic Kingdom After Hours, AKA Erin and my date night 🥰 💖 @crazyasianrunsfar and I had an amazing date night, but for the record we did let the boys tag along (make sure to swipe to the last pic!). We rode so many rides, got pictures, had so many laughs, but definitely no hot dogs 😬 💖 For those wondering if an After Hours is worth it - like everything in Disney, it depends. It is only 3 hours, MK does not have special characters out (the other three parks do though), and it is late (10PM-1AM). But the longest ride line was 20 minutes, most were walk on. Soda, water, popcorn and ice cream is all included. 💖 To us, it was worth it because of the memories we made with Erin and @runmiked . I don’t think I would do one again without a specific reason like that. But if you can afford it, it is definitely a great way to do a lot of rides and get empty park pics!!! But for us, the night was 10/10 (even with how cold it was and the lack of hot dogs).
Honest Disneyland Pixar Fest Food Review: 🍦 The Eeeeeeye Scream Cone 💰$9.29, mobile order/Magic Key discount 📍 Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor “Scoop of pistachio ice cream dipped in green chocolate garnished with eye candy and horns” This was the number one food eye wanted to try for Pixar Fest. It’s visually stunning, with the eye-conic Mike Wazowski representation. I mobile ordered it, and it was made fresh when I arrived. It is a single scoop of eye scream, with Jordan almond ears, on a small waffle cone 👏The good: if you like pistachio ice cream this is top tier quality, no fake coloring either, it was scrumptious. The jordan almond ears were a really nice surprise and were also delish. The white chocolate coating was tasty, not too sweet. 👎 The bad: This eye scream cone will lull you into a false sense of security that you can walk away from Gibson girl without keeping your EYE on it. But make no mistake, Mike Wazowskis insides are turning into a puddle of goo. The moment you bite into it, the melted ice cream will be alllll over your hands. Half of my eye scream cone either went all over my hands or on the floor. My advice would be to eat it at Gibson girl immediately, ask for a bowl, and grab plenty of napkins. There is no photographic evidence of me eating this cone bc I was held hostage by this eeeeye scream cone, my hands were literally covered with eyeee scream. I would absolutely order this again, I would just be better prepared. And now you will be too 😁. Citron Lemonade Slush - $14 🇫🇷| Found at Le Vins de France, in the French pavilion (green standalone stall near Chefs de France). I’ve tried both this and the Grand Marnier Slush, which is its “orange” cousin (also super tasty). Personally, I love this drink more - I don’t find the Vodka to be too overwhelming & it’s extremely refreshing on a hot day. This is a must have on every trip to Epcot! Blackberry Moonshine Sour - $14 🇺🇸| Found at the American Adventure Pavilion in the center of world showcase. This drink is at an outdoor bar to the left of Regal Eagle Smokehouse. Moonshine can be a hit or miss for me, but this cocktail was the perfect balance of sweet and sour; neither of which are overwhelming. It’s no wonder that it’s become an extremely popular drink! Frozen Viking Coffee - $15 🇳🇴 | Found in Norway, this is my favorite dessert drink! I love ending the night with the chocolatey goodness. This is found in the small bakery next to the shop in Norway. It includes a good mix of Bailey’s Irish Cream & Kamora Coffee Liqueur. DisneyWorld with the whole JoyRock family. 4 Parks in 2 days! 😄 It was exhausting but so fun. Bryer is the champion who can start with me early in the morning for early park entry and stays until closing when we switch out and I take the other two back to the hotel. Bryer goes on every single ride now, and we have the same favorite rides! Loved Everest in Animal Kingdom, Tron in Magic Kingdom, and Guardians in Epcot. We walked over 12 miles on the second day together! That’s a lot for those little legs haha! Desmond did great, enjoying everything except for the rides. He said he liked talking as we walked throughout the beautiful parks, looking at the animals on the Safari at Animal Kingdom, and holding different stuffies. Calvin loved Small World, Na’vi River ride, and the Nemo show. There’s really something for everyone here. Since we have 3 little ones, our trip was very kid centered, so for anyone asking I think Animal Kingdom was the coolest park with so much beauty, animals, and play structures / areas. Magic Kingdom is great if you have never been to Disneyland (California) because very kid centered and magical but if you are from California to me it is so similar and a little smaller so I could have bypassed this one… only exception being TRON which is the best ride in the whole park. I wonder how Epcot would be if it were just Annalisa and I… looked like so many cool sections of the world to explore with food, drinks, and experiences from each culture. Not as little kid friendly compared to the other parks. Overall, loved the Disney Magic. Having been to all the Disneylands in the world, it was fun to compare and contrast. The Edison at Disney Springs With an industrial chic 1920s vibe, this cool restaurant will have you feeling like you've stepped back in time. We were seated upstairs where our table had a small screen playing silent movie clips (Good for keeping our kids occupied). Unfortunately, I think we were too early in the night to see all the "acts" that The Edison boasts about. We did see a singer accompanied by a violinist on the stage below, but I understand that later in the night(after 10pm), they have aerialists, live cabaret, contortionists, and more. ✨REVIEW TIME: Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera Resort 🧇 Dining credit: 1 Table Service Price: Adult ($49.00) Child ($30.00) Reservations: HIGHLY recommended I can’t say enough good things about Topolino’s Terrace. We ate breakfast here on check out day! Doing this made our trip feel extended and not rushed back to the airport. We left our luggage checked in safety with our resort and headed to Hollywood Studios. From HS we hopped on the Skyliner to the Riviera Resort. You get to see a lot of the resort due to where the Skyliner and restaurant are located. It’s absolutely beautiful and I added it to my list of places to stay. We waited no more than 10 minutes for our table to be ready. We were served pog juice (the best of the best) and shareable appetizers of pastries. At this restaurant everyone chooses an entree. I chose Bread Pudding Brûlée, Rusty had Steak and Eggs, and Brooks had Mickey shaped Waffle Dippers (the cutest entree ever.) The food was phenomenal and probably the best Disney breakfast I’ve ever had. The characters at breakfast include: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their artistry fits. They spent a lot of time interacting, dancing, and putting on performances. Overall: Our server was excellent, the characters were entertaining, and the food was delicious. Score: 10/10 I will forever visit here. After breakfast we visited the rooftop for some views and hopped back on the Skyliner. I am late to the game finally posting our review of Epcot’s Festival of the Arts (we have been struggling to fight off a flu bug in my household). So, here it finally is! This was our first time at the Festival of the Arts, but it won its way to the top Epcot festival for us! 🫶 🎨 We loved how interactive it was! From animation sessions to chalk art for kids, there is something to do around every corner. I wanted to take part in painting the mural, but they had to close it early due to rain. 🍽️ Can I dare to say that we had our favorite dish at this festival?! 🫣 The Wild Mushroom Risotto at the Refreshment Outpost near Canada was hands down mine and my hubby’s favorite festival foods. You do have to be on the more adventurous side, but it was spectacular. We also loved the Wagyu Bao Bun in the Japan pavilion, just to name a couple of our top picks. We didn’t have a bad meal at this festival! 🎭 Due to the rain we didn’t have the opportunity to see the performing arts scheduled, but I was blown away with what we did get to experience (so I think that this would just be the cherry on top). 🧑🎨 Did I mention that you get to see Disney artists perfecting their craft?! They had traditional buffet style options like waffles, eggs and bacon, but they also had some wonderful specialty items! I was pleasantly surprised and definitely filled my plate up twice! • We loved meeting Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. The beach theme of their outfits was super cute. The kids loved watching them sign their own unique autograph. My favorite part was when my 3 year old nephew got up to hug Donald and said “I love you Donald!” It was such a sweet moment and Donald’s reaction was even sweeter. Oh I just love the magic of Disney! ❤️ • It’s worth mentioning that the same characters are at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom (which I also highly recommend), but this might be a great alternative for those guests not looking to pay to enter a park. We went on one of our rest days so we took our time to explore the resort, refill our refillable resort mugs (yes we brought them with us 🤣), bought some souvenirs, and then hopped on the Skyliner back to AoA. • Overall, we had a great experience. This reviewing family have shared their thoughts on a 4 day trip to Disneyland Paris in the February half term. They have children aged 10 and 12 so didn’t need fancy accommodation as they would be spending all their time in the park. The travelled via coach and Ferry which was really easy but probably not so easy if you have little ones. Here is what they thought… 🏨 Hotel: 🇫🇷 We Stayed at Santa Fe - 20 minute walk along the river to the parks, passing through Disney village on the way. 🇫🇷 The rooms are nice and clean, but basic and slightly tired looking. Fine for somewhere to sleep, but didn’t spend a lot of time here. 🇫🇷 Buffet breakfast was really good. Lots of choice and plenty of Mickey themed foods! 🇫🇷 other places we ate - rainforest cafe (amazing), then mainly ate at quick service restaurants within the park and got lots of Disney themed snacks which were all good. 🎢 Disneyland Paris: 🇫🇷 For rides we used our early magic hour as Disney hotel guests to get some of the more popular rides done before big queues. 🇫🇷 It was much quieter in Feb than when we have been in August before - max queue time was about 40 mins; but generally were 15/20 mins so we got lots done. 🇫🇷 Use the app to tell you queue times etc and plan your day. 🇫🇷 Lion King show is amazing, must see 🇫🇷 New drone show was good, but there were less fireworks this time which was disappointing. 🇫🇷 Favourite rides were phantom, manor, pirates of the Caribbean, ratatouille, and autopia. 🇫🇷 Prepare for a lot of walking we did around 27,000 steps each day so need comfy shoes! #disneylandparis #disney #disneyparks #disneyholidays #disneywithkids #funfamilyholiday #funfamilyvacation #disneyland #disneyreview #santafedisneyparis #santafedisney #februaryhalfterm #travelblogger #hotelreview
My thoughts exactly regarding the staff at the @rundisney merchandise expo "passholder" booth. I was curious to see a pin and the b*tch barked at me "if you're gunna buy it I'm going to need see your pass..." with a c*nty tone. On our way to the expo, we were a little lost as to how to navigate via expo bus... so we went to the @grand.fl bus/shuttle stop and walked up to a resort transport bus driver and @pika.ju_ asked the driver if this is the same stop for the expo and the guy in the most condescending way basically told us "you should know where you're going..." like wow. He coulda left it at "sorry, I don't know" instead of a 90 second verbal lashing about us being uninformed tourists asking for help. World of Frozen - Hong Kong Disneyland - The 5keys Rating 🔑 1. Theming & Story “Frozen” themed area opened at Hong Kong Disneyland. Although the area is not that large, the essence of Frozen has been condensed into a highly immersive area. Fans will love the many opportunities to see characters and performers. ★★★★★ 🔑 2. Technical & Quality The main attraction, Frozen Ever After, is the same model as Epcot, but the animatronics have evolved and the queue line is well sculpted. This attraction compensates for the lack of dark rides and boat rides in Hong Kong Disneyland and contributes greatly to the park’s appeal. The Oaken’s roller coaster is very short and feels like a waste of the state-of-the-art coaster and superb rock work, and if it’s longer than 30 minutes, don’t ride it. ★★★★☆ 🔑 3. Customer Experience The area is small and the main walkway is used for the attraction’s queue line, which makes walking during busy times quite stressful. The Playhouse in the Woods, which can be viewed with a standby pass, is a small-scale interactive theater, but I felt that the purpose of the show was not well communicated to guests, and the content was not particularly interesting. However, the area has a high probability of encountering characters and performers, and the merchandise is well-designed, so fans will be highly satisfied with the show. ★★★★☆ 🔑 4. Inclusion & Diversity Despite the high temperatures in Hong Kong, the Frozen Area will make everyone feel good and cool to the accompaniment of familiar music. ★★★★★ 🔑 5. The Boathouse Review! The Boathouse is one of my favorite restaurants and I constantly find myself coming back! It is located at Disney Springs in the Landing. The restaurant is huge and located right in the water. It is decorated so well and the wait staff is always amazing. You can sit indoors or outdoors, right in the water. You can watch the amphicars launch as well! You will find many meat and seafood offerings to please the whole family and such fun drinks! I highly recommend when visiting Disney Springs!

REVIEW: CHEF MICKEY 🧑🏻🍳 This was our toddlers second time here. Although, I loved his reactions at 18 months nothing beat his experience at 3. He was so excited to see each character, dance with them, and of course get his autograph book signed! This is my sweet girls first trip and let’s just say she was DISNEY TIRED #iykyk Chef Mickey is back to buffet style and the selections were endless. Brooks loved that the buffet had an area just for his size. The desserts were the high point for me! Apple crumble, Oreo cheesecake, brownies, and more! Cost: We did not do the dining plan this trip. I have always done it and wanted to compare for not only myself but my clients. Adult $132.00 Kid $41.00 Infant: Free Subtotal: $173.00 + $11.25 tax = $184.25 before tip (This IS a meal worth the dining plan) Disney always list suggested tips at 18%, 20%, & 22% already figured out for you. We usually tip cash to make things easier. Some people decorate envelopes with a thank you note and the cash tip. The cast members say it makes their day! Overall: Chef Mickey is a classic spot you can't miss on your next trip! Drawn to Life" is an incredible show that brings together the magic of Disney animation and the awe-inspiring performances of Cirque du Soleil. It follows the journey of Julie, a talented animator, as she sets out on a captivating quest to complete an unfinished animated creation. Along the way, audiences are treated to an array of spectacular acrobatics, dazzling effects, and encounters with beloved Disney characters. This show is a lively tribute to imagination and creativity. With graceful aerial performances that touch your heart and jaw-dropping stunts that amaze, one part stood out: acrobats in a fast-moving double wheel structure. Their gravity-defying moves were astonishing—I found myself closing my eyes at times, but I'm glad the acrobats kept their eyes open. The music made just for the show adds feelings to each part. It goes great with what you see, making the story even better and adding more magic to the whole show. Inside, the theatre is comfortable, with spacious seating so everyone gets a good view. The stage is the centrepiece, and the whole place is designed to immerse you in the wonder of the show. And the Best popcorn ever !!!! I would recommend this show it is great for all ages and I would go back to see this again. The performances run from Wednesday to Sunday, and they're selling tickets for dates up to January 2025.
