I’m haunted by David Abir’s sculptural layering of Mahler’s Fifth; Paul Pfeiffer’s astounding work with Chris Kubick’s exquisite Language Removal Services; and upstairs, the enchanting soundscape of sound art pioneer Stephen Vitiello. Preview Art exhibition: Get ready for an exhilarating preview on 26th August 2023, from 6 to 9 pm CEST at Galery, PRISKA PASQUER PARIS. Dive into the realm of the "Pluriverse" – a thought-provoking exploration that challenges the singular concept of the universe. Drawing inspiration from Latin origins, the exhibition invites us to experience a multiplicity of expressions and worlds. It questions the dominance of European scientific rationalism, advocating for the harmony of diverse epistemologies. From Indigenous to Digital, all ways of knowing are celebrated, not to overshadow Western rational-scientific methods, but to incorporate them into a larger tapestry of understanding. It's not just an art exhibition; it's a call for a future that embraces diversity, mutual respect, and ecological sustainability. Mark your calendars for the grand opening on 2nd September 2023. Our excitement is palpable, and we can't wait for you to experience the wonders of the Pluriverse!

Thought of this @warrenneidich word piece the other day. Found this pic from a few years ago. / In 1999 Warren and I appeared in the same PAJ Issue - Performing Arts Journal. Which was a big deal! I was in my 20s still. To be published in a very cool Art Journal by @johnshopkinsu ~ @mitpress was/is incredible! Larry was visiting my studio when he saw my open notebook on the floor with drawings and handwritten notes. “This is amazing!” he said - “Can I publish this?” He typed up my notes for me at his office. (I had no typewriter or computer) Then they printed it with my drawings from my notebook. Hilariously the editors received hate mail from angry readers demanding they credit the author of my article. — It was me! I wrote it. 😂 Larry loved that! (The Society of the Spectacle)、數據及神經社會連結,人們基於虛假的認知所形成的「景觀社會」反而取代了現實世界,進而成為大家所認為的「真實」。 From the Society of the Spectacle to the Consciousness Industry 2023.06.20~07.23 更多展訊詳見LINK IN BIO

From the Society of the Spectacle to the Consciousness Industry 2023.06.20~07.23 更多展訊詳見LINK IN BIO

Her artwork is textile-based and relationally-oriented, often participatory. She is interested in the detail of material complexity, in what reveals itself to perception sideways, in the quality of a textural engagement with life. Her work often plays synesthetically with touch, of recent in acknowledgement and experimentation with the ProTactile movement for DeafBlind culture and language. Tactile propositions include large scale hangings produced with a diversity of tools including tufting, hooking, knotting, weaving. 3e is the main direction her current research takes – an exploration of the transversality of the three ecologies: the social, the environmental and the conceptual. An iteration of 3e is a land-based project north of Montreal where living and learning is experimented. Soundtrack for a Seascape (Round), 2023 Annenberg Community Beach House, Santa Monica, CA Swept Away: Love Letters to a Surrogate(s) In the fall of 2022, sixty-five artists from Los Angeles provided sets of instructions in the form of love letters to an equal number of artists from the East End of Long Island who performed them at the waters’ edge in front of the pavilion at Main Beach in East Hampton. In the spring of 2023, East End artists wrote love letters to LA artists that were performed at Will Rogers State Beach, Santa Monica in conjunction with the 18th Street Arts Center. Over two consecutive days, April 22 and 23, West Coast artists responded to prompts submitted by their East Coast counterparts addressing themes of deep ecology and the interdependence of humans with other living beings and ecological networks. My response to Barry Schwabsky’s poem, Soundtrack for the Seascape, was having it read in the structure of a musical round by six readers through megaphones. They were standing at the edge of the water and their voices mixed with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
