A reintroduction to running this week post marathon. Easing back in gently with 3 x 30 min sessions, very aware of the risk of injury during the recovery period so being sensible (for a change 🤪)!

Loved my cycle on Friday, 27 miles (44 km) in the heat felt great at the time but I felt it later in the day! Highly recommend @voomnutrition for fuelling cycling efforts as well as running! Tasty and easy to digest, winning combination 👍 Cleat issues were a pain at times… but I didn’t fall so all good 🤷♀️😂
Pleased to have done some decent strength work too, even if the upper body session felt really tough and I feel like I’ve regressed. I know the reality is it’s due to the fact I’m still recovering post marathon and some days are just harder 🤷♀️
Migraines and dizziness have been this week’s annoying companions. The heat here has gone up a notch, I’ve really tried to stay hydrated though so who knows what’s going on (perimenopause maybe 🤷♀️). On the plus side it looks like I’ve learned to levitate (pic 9) 🤷♀️😂
