Unsolicited advice We all receive it in some form when we have a new baby and we are adjusting to motherhood/parenthood. Today in our session we discussed unsolicited advice and following our gut. So a few days ago, a tragic happened. I lost my job. 😓 Due to the pandemic and my workplace not being able to afford it and etc. I was devastated tbh.. Firstly because I had worked there for nearly 2 years, secondly because I had tolerated a LOT and I mean a lot.. Just so I don't lose the job, and thirdly my visa case for my husband.. That had been my last option. And now even that option had gone. And of course, all my colleagues and the children I had built relationships with 😭 It hurt and I rang my husband and cried telling him. I had lost my job, I was gona have no money coming in.. What was gona happen about my husbands visa case, about me opening my own business.. Getting a house.. Future plans etc. I had a thousand questions in my head that day and I was going crazy.. But a lot of family members spoke to me and I just wanted to mention some of the things they said. Sometimes in life, things don't go our way. We plan, and Allah plans.. And not always do things happen according to our plan.. And in that moment we begin to stress and be depressed over it but we forget Allah is the best of planners. Allah knows what is better for us.. Even if we may hate that thing and want something else, but Allah will know whichever one is best as only He knows the future. My grandma told me that if something is destined for me, no one.. No nursery no person no workplace, can stop me from getting it. Even if the whole world closes down, if Allah has written something for me.. I WILL get it no matter how. She kept repeating these words and said Rukhsar no matter what happens, just remember these words. If Allah has destined something for you, you will get it and no one can stop that. Guys, you know in times like this.. I know it's hard.. It's hard to be patient.. It's hard because we want answers.. We want to know what will happen.. Etc. But we need to have tawakkul.. We need to have faith in Allah. Allah says walk towards me and I will run towards you.. And when all the doors are closed for us, and we don't know where to go.. What can we do? Have tawakul. Have faith in Allah.. Blind faith, because He says 'Be' and it is. *Continued in comments
