Mother’s Day 2024 🌹 Motherhood is what awakened me! Every time I birthed my babies I birthed a new version of myself. This Mother’s Day my youngest is now 5 and I feel like I’ve had my fair share of hard core awakenings 🤪.. this year feels very mystical! I hear the voices of my ancestors and it’s so strong! In my dreams and in meditation. I can’t ignore it! I feel deeply connected to the season of Samhain this year, honouring those women in my blood line sharing their stories with my family and keeping their spirit alive has me feeling so lit up and activated in my womb! In Australia we celebrate Mother’s Day in Samhain which is actually perfect! As I reflect on the red thread of strong and powerful women in my maternal line! Women who have sacrificed so much to care for their babies, who would do anything to keep them safe and warm. Mother’s Day for me if not only honouring my mother, step mother and mother in law for all that they do, but it’s paying deep resonance to all the women who have come before us. My drawing is of a beautiful and powerful earth elemental with floral hair, and a magic flower with a green magic crystal as part of it on her head as her elemental magical power source. Her hands are emanating and energized with earth elemental energy that she’s using to help the wildflowers bloom in a green grassy lush valley shadowed by huge snowcapped mountains. Today at #sunlandstudioarts at #tierradelsolfoundation , I continued working on an oil pastel and watercolor painting that I had started last week, now I’m finished! The painting is titled “Violet flower themed earth elemental with blue skin.” This beautiful earth elemental is in an outdoor landscape with a two toned background, one half sky blue, the other half orange. On the ground there is grass and some pretty flowers. The sky has clouds and the sun. The earth elemental has purple and navy blue wavy hair, the colors are kind of similar to the violet flower in her hair that she’s themed around. Masks and costumes were worn to disguise from the evil spirits and then this tradition then became known as Halloween. Gaelic festivals of honouring the dead were huge!! Marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of the darkest time of year, a time when the spirit world was more closely aligned to the physical world. These festivals and seasonal wisdom extended all over the world including The ‘’Dia de los Muertos,’’ or ‘’day of the dead,’’ in South America. 2004 August 11 — “Elementals” — My impressions of the Elementals: Gnomes - Earth spirits, Sylphs - Air spirits, Undines - Water spirits, Salamanders - Fire spirits (drawn with coloured pencils on paper). Elementals are the mystical creatures that are deemed to live within the spirit realm of the elements air, earth, fire, and water. They are watched over and controlled by the Lords of the Watchtowers or Guardians. Folklore traditionally had it that elementals were somewhere between somewhat fickle and downright evil. They were thought to trick, trap, and kill people. It was this commonly held belief centuries ago that played a major part in many of the witch hunts. . As IG has been doing strange things lately with re-cropping & ruining many of the images in my previous posts I’ll play it safe from now on & edit my images before uploading so they always fit within the traditional IG square instead of the 4:5 aspect ratio which IG previously accepted without any problems. Some of my previous 4:5 images are ok while many others have been re-cropped by IG to 1:1, meaning many sides & tops/bottoms of previously posted artworks are now chopped off. Not happy!!🤬🤬🤬 Hopefully it’s just a glitch that will be rectified by IG sooner rather than later. AN ARCHIVE: Our Divine Union Mission in Awakening + Anchoring the Christos. My beloved @weffxaveair and I have been in a continuous journey of synthesizing, cultivating and anchoring our Divine Union Mission. As an Intercultural couple, our first year was a deep dive into how our different cultures, him as a Black American, and I as an African, meet and intersect in our spiritual work. The first year was a whole topsy-turvy mess, as we fumbled around in our different spiritual locations, trying to find each other so we can be in the same Unified Field. There was so much jarring discomfort as we navigated the threshold of our cultural lenses that shaped our spiritual nature and reality. It was only at the beginning of our second year that our Divine Union Mission became clearer. One day we woke up and realized, Weff’s spiritual gnosis in Immortal Eternal Alchemy is really another dimension of my spiritual gnosis in Morphogenetic DNA Healing. It is what we recognize as what the Ancients called Elemental Arts—the art of working with the Natural Elementals to heal the Inner Elementals in our DNA, so we can embody our True Spirit Essence. For both of us, even before meeting, it has always been the embodiment of our True Spirit Essence, that which is known as the Christos, that is the true purpose of any spiritual endeavor. Last year, when we started doing in-person immersions in nature, a whole synthesis of our mission landed: It is the Christos that is the antidote and elixir to any physical, emotional, mental and spiritual disease, oppression and enslavement. In our work with emerging and seasoned healers, we keep finding the return to the Christos Within, and the Cosmic Christ as the True Path back to Eternal Life. We are devotee of Elemental and Oracular Arts but real talk, whenever we support anyone back to their Christos—the God Being Within, that is when we know we are doing our Divine Union Mission. P.S. . Know the Spirits in the Grass! 1. Dew Jellyfish When the fields are covered in dew in the morning and you are lucky, you can see some of the drops starting to fly around. They gather in swarms and glint in the morning sun like gems. 2. Blossoming Drifters These strange spheres covered in flowers, smell very nice, but something about the way they are just drifting around makes them seem untrustworthy. 3. Seed Ghost It is unknown, wether they are the ghosts of dead plants or new plants waiting to be born. Do plants even leave ghost? 4. Lost Fish Long ago, this land was covered in ocean. Some of the ghosts of the fish who died here, still hang around. They have not forgotten the sea that is now gone. 5. The Wheel of time is the original calendar my ancestors, celtic pagans used to mark the Suns spiral through the stars and Earths cycle through the seasons. It aligns with astrological time. Mabon is the second harvest festival and is marked by the Autumnal Equinox - a still point where there is equal parts night and day. It’s a time of balance and to find equilibrium in our feminine and masculine polarities. . This large serpent can only be seen on the sunniest of summer days. Throughout history, this being has been viewed as both a benevolent deity of light and a cruel demon that eats the rain and causes drought. 3. Summer Snowflakes These spirits can often be seen during winter, if one knows what to look out for. During the other parts of the year, they hide within the clouds. 4. Rainy Leaf Sprites On sunny days, these spirits behave like normal plants and are easy to overlook. On rainy days, they fly. 5. I celebrate the Celtic wheel of the year and have been working with the wheel long before I knew that it was connected to my ancestors. My soul knew. My ancestors would use the wheel to help them connect to the internal and external cycles of the seasons, just like we would use a calendar filled with to do to lists, appointments and schedules. They used a wheel to work in harmony with Gaia. The elders would teach the bairns how to commune with nature and her cycle of fertility birth, harvest and death. They had a deep love and respect for nature and there was ritual, intention and ceremony behind every process. The celebrations are connected to old Pagan and Christian roots where the community would gather, unite with love and play. Every time the wheel moves, I move. I look at nature and how she changes just like the phases of the moon and just like a woman does in her menstrual cycle. You see, we are all connected to each other and the earth. To be one with the earth allows you to get closer to the divine.
