Zindan Gate is one of the gates in the complex of #belgradefortress historical core of #belgrade the capital of #serbia It was built in the time when #fortification were switching from cold weapons to artillery, and when first cannons were introduced in the defense. Finished between 1440 and 1456, due to its unique appearance among the fortress‘ gates, and the 1930s reconstruction and upgrade in the Romanticist style, the medieval barbican is one of the landmarks of the #fortress and one of its most recognizable parts.

Окидывая взглядом окрестности Изборска - места столь дивные, с холмами и перелесками, озерами и речками - мысли непроизвольно настраиваются на философское восприятие бытия, сподвигая побольше узнать о местах здешних и предках, которые пришли сюда в VII-VIII веках. Составляя летопись, Нестор впервые упомянул город Изборск в 862 году (кстати, Псков упоминается на 40 лет позже - в 903 году). Первое поселение здесь называлось Словенск, в честь основателя, сына новгородского князя Гостомысла Словена, а название Изборск оно получило позднее, в честь сына Словена - Избора. С XI века стал Изборск приграничной крепостью, которая первой встречала тевтонских да ливонских рыцарей своими стенами. В XVI веке Изборская крепость как мощное оборонительное сооружение своей роли уже выполнять не могла - несколько пушек в течение двух часов могли легко разрушить стену. Правда, роль приграничного форпоста она играла вплоть до окончания Северной войны. В XVIII веке Изборск становится провинциальным купеческим городом, знаменитым благодаря своему отличному льну, который выращивался на окрестных полях и который местные купцы в большом количестве продавали в России и поставляли за границу. От старого города осталось мало, но размер крепости впечатляет. Расположен на вытянутом склоне на высоких скалах, над левым берегом Саны, в местности Град, на высоте 521 м, в месте впадения Саны в ущелье между Брешчицей (528 м) и Любинской горой ( 656 м). У Града, выше Ключа, римляне первыми построили укрепление, время постройки которого точно установить невозможно. Первые укрепления средневекового города Ключ были созданы в 13 веке, когда Ключ был приходским городом средневекового прихода Саница. Город Ключ впервые упоминается в 1322 году в хартии бана Степана II Котроманича, который передал Вукосаву Хрватиничу приходы Баница (Мренская жупа) и Врбаня, включая города Ключ и Котор. Король Томаш Котроманич грамотой, выданной во Врандуке в 1446 году, подтвердил владение Ключом Иванишу Драгишичу и его сыновьям. Ключ и вся территория Нижнего региона приобрели значение, когда центр страны был перенесен в западные регионы перед вторжением османов. В 1463 году последний боснийский король Степан Томашевич пытался найти убежище в Ключе, но был схвачен и заключен в тюрьму. Османы захватили Ключ в 1463 году и удерживали его до 1878 года. Крепостной комплекс состоит из трех частей, соединенных стенами: Города с пригородами, лагеря и башни. The old town of Ključ is located above the left bank of the Sana, above the modern settlement of Ključ, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located on an elongated slope on high rocks, above the left bank of the Sana, in the Grad locality, at an altitude of 521 m, at the place where the Sana enters the gorge between Breščica (528 m) and Ljubinska mountain (656 m). The tower named Ljubica is protruding and was built as a lateral protection of the core of the fortress. The image of Ključ is preserved on an engraving in Benedikt Kuripešić's travelogue from 1530. The Old Town of Ključ was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Почему это так полезно? 🤔 ⠀ Стоя на скале высотой в 170 метров (которая не такая уж и высокая) и наблюдая окрестности Сигирии, я тут подумала о том, почему у меня такая одержимость путешествиями. То есть я готова идти по шатающейся лестнице, которая держится на добром слове, получая удары ветра в лицо и сталкиваясь с тоннами туристов... Разве тут сильно много удовольствия? Думаю, что дело в чем-то другом... ⠀ Я уверена, что путешествия делают меня лучше. А ещё: ✔️ Помогают развивать новые навыки и качества при выходе из зоны комфорта, ✔️ Укрепляют физическую форму, хотя я в поездках почему-то не худею 😅 ✔️ Расширяют кругозор, мировоззрение и общую осведомленность в политике, ✔️ Развивают позитивное мышление и дают множество полезных знакомств на будущее. И, самое главное, ✔️ помогают мне побыть в одиночестве, познакомиться с самой собой поближе и словить дзен. 🙌 ⠀ Путешествия также научили меня ценить дом. Я очень часто хотела свалить, чтобы увидеть живописные горы, манящий берег моря или океана, архитектуру в стиле готики или барокко и услышать мое любимое пение муэдзина, но, когда я возвращаюсь домой после очередной поездки, мне тепло на душе. Путешествие – это урок понимания того, откуда мы пришли и что такое родина. Различия в культуре, которые замечаются именно во время путешествий, помогают нам понять, насколько наша личность всё-таки зависима от места, где мы родились и живём. ☝️ ⠀ И, да, многие не согласятся, плюс подумают, что я пытаюсь кого-то мотивировать, но дело не в этом. У меня просто накатило настроение "пофилософствовать", тем более что я всегда ищу попутчиков и, если кто-то действительно решит бросить всё к чёрту и отправиться со мной в незапланированное путешествие, то я буду только за! 😁 ⠀ Все мы разные: кто-то предпочитает ездить заграницу раз в год на пассивный отдых, кто-то наоборот чаще, у кого-то временно нет возможности для этого, а кому-то поездки вообще неинтересны. Но я очень надеюсь, что мои посты о новых локациях читать хотя бы занимательно. 🙌😁

Когда-то вокруг Каира были крепостные стены, а в тех стенах были ворота. Говорят, их было трое. Но сейчас сохранились только одни — Баб аль-Футух. И они теперь не на окраине Каира, а в самом его пыльном и шумном центре. Снимать их очень сложно. Куча машин, какой-то мусор, каие-то информационные щиты прямо перед воротами (другого же места нет, да?). Собирался я туда ещё в прошлом году, но там нашлись более простые точки съёмки.
