Sometimes you just have to go! Lost post photo recovered! @hansjw took this photo back in January 2019 on a cold single digits day. Not sure if anyone ever build a jump here since pretty sure no one had done it before. Created to my brother @coach_george802 for having the eyes to see this beautiful spot set up in the mountains, he had been eyeing it and on this day we pulled the trigger set up a blind jump over the bushes and sent it. The climb back up was a bitch so I sent this Tame Dog on my second hit. Staring down the gut of the landing the whole time, like WOOoooosh! I recently had the honor to tell the story of #burtoncultureshifters and I’m still tingling from the excitement over the past week or it might be a mild concussion. To be in this position in just my first year of snowboarding means the world to me. Snowboarding has completely impacted my mental health for the better and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I believe that through story is how we immortalize subjects and it is powerful to be able to say what happened here and who was present. I’m proud of Zeb, he’s done so much in so little time and through his own journey of self discovery so much beauty has come from it. Seeing the slopes full of black and brown people was a magnificent sight to see and I thank everyone who attended for trusting me with their thoughts and feelings.
