Had a little set back this past weekend. Wife and baby were both sick. I didn't feel great but never made it all the way to sick so I was caretaker foe both of them this weekend. So that became my priority. I still could have squeezed in some reading but I didn't and that is on me. I evaluated after and realized this so I will work to correct this issue next time. As for getting up early, I was up about every hour with the kid Saturday night so no I did not get up with the alarm at 5 am. The priority was taking care of them and I couldn't do that if overexhausted. That said, today I was up at 4:30 and finally getting to move some weight. Worked up to 275x10 on back squat. Second set didn't go as well but considering the sleep I got this weekend I will let it slide. Still adjusting to morning lifting but we will get there. #defreset #warbeard #thedungeon #squat

Axel didn't sleep well last night and I am definitely feeling it but when it's time to get up to achieve my goals, I get up. Definitely still not fully adjusted to morning lifting sessions. Don't feel as strong as I would normally in the afternoon but we are getting there. A bunch of sing leg RDLs and lunges before getting to my deadlifts today. Really happy with how this went today! Inspired by natural stone lifters @laird_ross and @_indiana_stones_ , I picked up some sandbags to start incorporating into my training. I also hope this will help give a solid core so I can kiss my back problems goodbye. I picked up a couple of sandbags from @cerberus_strength_usa at the 135 ish and 175 ish weights. Spent the first 20 minutes today just working on some technique and getting accustomed to these odd objects. Finished with a modified #burntheships workout from @michael_easter . Just did 3 rounds of hug squats, hug carry down and back across the yard (notsure of actual distance), 15 push ups on bag, more hug carries, and then 10 half moon stretches. I've had low energy for a few days now and not sure why. I feel fine besides energy so work goes on. I cut my LC sets a little short so I don't practice too much bad form but fought my way through this workout to get it done. 2x2min paused long cycle with the 20 to get me started today. 6x1min long cycle with the 24s at 8rpm, kicked my tookis today. Then trying this Pennsylvania press or kneeling push press in hopes I see some power carry over. Squats and windmills to wrap up today. Not my best training day but between waking up with no power and trying to figure out how to get ready for work, fatigue from barbell work after a 3 month break, and the heat but I still showed up. And that was after seeing the dentist! Still showed and made a few adjustments to my plan but put in the work for what I could do today. Long cycle for 1, 2, 2, 2 minute sets at 8rpm. Then some rack bumps, jump squats and single leg rdls to end the session. First time touching a barbell in about 13 weeks. Schedule with appointments and baby doctor appointments have cut into some workout time and I know that will get worse when he shows up. So getting it in when I can. Still kettlebell training but I'm working towards a program for myself. A hybrid athlete type of program. On that I will try to a barbell workout at least once a week with kettlebell and running the rest of the time. Snatch did 165 for a few singles dusting off those cobwebs. Squat felt surprisingly good. Did 275 for 3x5. Bench felt a little weaker than expected but still did 225 for 4x5. Then some carries and renegade rows. #warbeard #kindafitkindafat #hybridtraining

Had my wisdom teeth removed just over a week ago because of how I acted in my 20s. Payed the price for neglect. So been easing back into training and today did a full workout.
