Hoy os traigo una película poco conocida y no entiendo porqué, cuando la vi automáticamente me enamoré de ella y de su gran banda sonora. Ya que el tema principal de la película trata sobre la música. Se llama August Rush. El triunfo de un sueño (2007). Sinopsis: Un joven guitarrista irlandés (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) y una violonchelista (Keri Russell) pasan una romántica e inolvidable noche de verano en Nueva York, pero el azar los separa. De su breve encuentro nace August (Freddie Highmore), un niño que, por un destino fatal, va a parar a un orfanato, donde pasa una dura infancia. Con sólo once años, se gana la vida como músico callejero, bajo la tutela de un siniestro y dickensiano personaje (Robin Williams) que trata de explotarlo. El niño pronto se revela como un músico genial, un nuevo Mozart, que se servirá de su talento para intentar encontrar a sus padres. Es un cuento musical. Te sumerjes en el mundo de las músicas (varias) que nos rodean y te dejas encantar por un cuento sencillo, pero tierno; humano. Sin grandes pretensiones. Solo se trata de pasar un buen rato, alguna lagrimita de emoción (que no de tristeza). Ahora bien, la dimensión musical de la película me embargó desde las primeras escenas. Música como escudo de defensa, como impulso vital, como medio de comunicación con tus semejantes, como sistema de búsqueda, como soporte a la esperanza. Y la música desde todos los ámbitos: no solo desde los instrumentos musicales, sino desde el roce del viento en la hierba; las gotas de agua sobre los cristales; coches circulando; metales chocando... Todo nos invita a rescatar nuestro sentido auditivo de lo convenional, para concentrar nuestra atención a los múltiples matices de sonido que nos llegan y que también nos pueden traer belleza. La banda sonora me parece impecable. Aunque la traten de boba y empalagosa, creo que tenéis poco que perder y mucho que disfrutar. He was a diligent, hardworking individual who dedicated himself to building a Church within his residential colony. It hurts to realize that the shadowy figure who raised a family is gone, never to return. I could only admire the composed dark eyes that stood up to thank those of us who came to pay our final respects' at their residence, as the firstborn son of the family. Yes, we drifted away. We were mere 19 when we met, and unsure of how to navigate our emotional needs. Now, at 24, we forgive and forge ahead, first, a family child and then an individual ascending the societal hierarchy. Strange, that 'August Rush' and 'Luna' became part of my reasons to stir the well of life up until now. Not that everyone has to decode that one confusing, depressed phase I'd been dealt with. A sombre tone which drains me whenever I'm at my lowest. Dejection? Would appear evil rather. In my healing, the treasure chest of the year, was getting recruited in 2023 at the age of 23 by Nagaland Post. I express deep gratitude to those who have helped and engage with my blog writings.
