Violaceous is the third juniper berry and herb fragrance I’ve tried in the past three weeks, and is by leaps and bounds my favorite. Violaceous is a UAE Exclusive released in 2022. It’s a really amazing blend of spicy herbs and sweet juniper berries. As it dries down, the sweetness from the juniper berries persist, and is joined by the woodiness from the birch and the creamy nature of the vanilla and sandalwood base. This was a great introduction for me into the house of Boadicea the Victorious. It’s obvious how high the quality in the oils is. Ardent da casa Boadicea the Victorious. Perfume oriental, floral, ambarado, adocicado, amadeirado, com ênfase na nota de rosa, muito sofisticado e de qualidade ímpar. Sua abertura já se demonstra quente com uma combinação de açafrão com uma nota de rosa turca, picante e opulenta mas, ao mesmo tempo, luminosa e com certo frescor. Imagino uma rosa desabrochando devagar, mostrando sua beleza aos poucos. Chegando no coração, temos mais rosas na composição, encorpadas e que são mergulhadas em uma cera de abelha ridiculamente natural. Aqui o que é possível sentir é um aroma de mel, denso e adocicado na medida certa. A combinação de rosa e cera de abelha deixa a fragrância única, encorpada mas não agressiva, especialmente pela adição da nota de hedione, que ressalta o lado mais fresco das rosas. Observação: percebo que o mel busca levar a fragrância para o caminho dos gourmand, mas isso não acontece pois as rosas são bem proeminentes e equilibram as coisas. Com sua evolução, a fragrância a mistura de rosas e cera de abelha é mergulhada em uma baunilha, digamos, “transparente”, pouco doce, licorosa, especialmente quando se sente a presença da resina de benjoim, que juntos mergulham em um acorde de âmbar, igualmente licoroso sem ser pegajoso. O oud também está presente de maneira sutil, limpa e fácil de agradar, sem toques medicinais ou animalicos, ajudando a dar uma base sólida para as notas e acordares citados. Damn how should I start this. These are three big hitters in my opinion. All three are similar in various ways but different at the same time. Let’s start with the Orignal Don Dada Al Qurashi Blend, by the house of Abdul Samad Al Qurashi. Al Qurashi Blend gave birth to Blue Sapphire & Auster. Blue Sapphire by the house of Boadicea is an exact replica of Al Qurashi,but more complex with a few subtle differences. Blue Sapphire is more amped up with a candy like lemon, with herbal nuances in the opening followed by rose oud. Auster by the house of Electimuss, Is a fresher take on Al Qurashi Blend, without the rose oud. You get a more fresher aquatic lemony earthy fragrance with Auster. Now is it worth getting all three? For me yes I can tell the difference between the three. They may have the same dna but they are different. Scent of the day Al Qurashi Blend. Imperial is the most versatile masculine fragrance that I own from @boadiceathevictorious . I really wish I had a 100 ml of this all season all situational gem from my favorite house. This was I think the 2nd boadicea I owned like 4 years ago and made me super interested in more from them. I’ve seen it compared to Oud Wood and Sauvage Elixir which is bullshit. It’s not remotely like those. This is very woody lightly rosey fragrance with a lot of other things going on. It’s a very interesting blend but I’d highly recommend it. Boadicea The Victorious Energizer.🍋 Pure citrus heaven!🤩 I bought this one last summer in Barcelona and today i will share my thoughts in this amazing citrus fragrance. Long time followers know that i'm a sucker for well done citruses. When i tried Energizer for the first time it was an instant must have!🤩 The fragrance opens with the best most natural grapefruit i have smelled in any fragrance, accompanied by a flirt of other citrus like lime, bergamot and orange. The citruses are backed by a green vetiver and pinch of petitgrain. Its not complex by any means, but the quality and natural juicyness of the ingredients used here are impeccable.
