I love and am fascinated by the idea of perfumes as animate entities. For instance, there are perfumes that are inherently unfriendly, introverted, and then there are those that are incredibly inviting from the very first notes. And then there are those (mostly vintage ones, because old fragrances often allowed for different stages to smell completely different) that gradually reveal themselves to you if they can trust you. Previously, for me, the best example of this was Miss Dior, with its dry, sharp moss and sharp poplar buds at the top, followed by a cautious emergence of light pink rose. And in the end — a very soft and comforting base, where amber with benzoin and vetiver take the lead, while oakmoss is just there, another layer, the lowest and quite delicate. And now I’ve become acquainted with Or et Noir, and I think it’s the perfect example. It perfectly justifies its name (Gold and Black in translation), only Black comes first. Sharp, nose-tickling geranium and bergamot, dry, unkind, prickly, with a metallic cold undertone. And it seems like that’s how it will be, because they already play and shimmer so beautifully. But when you stop expecting it, suddenly from nowhere appear languid, rich, sweet, ambery, softly mossy, if you can say that about flowers — overripe roses. Black gives way to Gold — warm tenderness and joy...

Angeline Lost in Dream 🇪🇸 Этот аромат брала вслепую, такой пробник не присылали. Но когда я вижу ландыш в пирамиде, а также кардамон и розовый перец, то автоматически делаю стойку. В данном случае даже заранее простила пачули в базе... Верхние ноты: Кардамон, Бергамот, Лимон Средние ноты: Фиалка, Ландыш, Розовый перец Базовые ноты: Ваниль, Ветивер, Пачули Пирамида непривычно богатая для бренда. Но раскрытие довольно быстрое. Вся верхняя острая и шипучая красота слетает быстро. А вот средние ноты задерживаются и звучат как-то совместно с базой. Ландыш здесь сильно на подпевках, зато перец, ваниль и пачули слышно прекрасно. Аромат с остринкой перца, шероховатый от пачули, тёплый и сладковатый от ванили. Цветы фонят, добавляют объема, но аромат не цветочный. Аромат средней плотности, пряный и относительно взрослый. На Randewoo отзывы диаметрально противоположные, от "фу бабушкин сундук" до "любимый из всей коллекции". Ну да, пачулистая база, да ещё с ветивером - это не про юность. Но и прям бабушек я не слышу. Scent of the Saturday evening is the gorgeous and sensual Séville à l’Aube 🍊 from L’Artisan Parfumeur. Séville à l’Aube was launched in 2012 and created by Bertrand Duchaufour together with Denyse Beaulieu (Grain de Musc). I love Orange 🧡 blossom and this is one of the best in my opinion. Paris Corner - Qissa Pink to od wczoraj nowy nabytek w mojej kolekcji. Zapach określany jako lepsza wersja Yary od Lattafy. Czy faktycznie tak jest? Do pełnego porównania musiałabym odkopać moją odlewkę. Jedno jednak napisać mogę śmiało. Qissa Pink jest dla mnie tym czym miała być Yara a czym nie jest. Niestety Lattafa nie trzyma na mnie wcale, o jakiejkolwiek projekcji nawet nie ma co mówić. Nie wyczuwam truskawkowych niuansów, nie rozumiem zatem porównań do zapachu rożowo-białych cukierków Alpenliebe. Qissa mimo iż w nutach truskawek nie ma (chociaż na różnych stronach nuty nieco się od siebie różnią, a na jednym ze zdjęć produktowych znalazłam flakon w towarzystwie truskawek), pachnie dla mnie właśnie nieco jak truskawkowy shake. Nie da się pominąć wanili którą od samego początku czuć wyraźnie, gdzieś w tle wyczuwam także świeże, młode jabłko. Są to perfumy "puchate", słodkie, kremowe. Niezwykle urokliwe, dziewczęce, niezobowiązujące i radosne. Ot taki "poprawiacz humoru". Nie jest to killer jeśli chodzi o parametry, wypada przeciętnie. Wymaga jednak ode mnie dłużych testów. Ps. Tęcza ktorą widzicie na zdjęciu nie jest filtrem ani narzuconym efektem w programie graficznym. Zatem skąd się wzięła? Padające przez okno mocne światło słoneczne "przebiło" się przez butelkę z wodą, która stała na parapecie. So here she is melon kiss by navitus Top notes are Melon and Bergamot; middle notes are Melon and Coconut Milk; base notes are Madagascar Vanilla and Honey I'm a little uncertain at the moment on this one, she's very creamy vanilla with honey dew melon but it has an almost fizzy sherbert smell to it and its just not my thing, plus kinda weak and gone after a couple of hrs. Shay & Blue London has been on my list to try for a long time now… Every so often I fill up my cart with every fragrance they make and then come to my senses and delete my whole cart!🤣 So I decided to get samples of every fragrance that they have made just to see what the hype was about! The scents are so unique and really stand out! They smell heavenly and I love the bottle design! The biggest issue… well the only issue that I had with this brand was the longevity of their fragrances… For me, most of them I only got about 2-3hrs MAX of wear time out of them! This disappointed me so much because a scent so addicting should last longer! Had the longevity been longer, I would have owned the entire collection! Has anyone tried Shay & Blue London and had success with their longevity? Let me know! 💕

Birdie из коллекции JTC - самое оно для таких дней. Подготовила вторую часть обзора на один интересный околооккультный 😁 бренд, но в пятницу никто не хочет читать лонгриды про новинки почему-то. Мне понравилось носить мимозу в дождь. Прохладный влажный воздух немного скрадывает сладость пыльцы. Поэтому сегодня была максимально сладкая Farnesiana @caronparfums У меня старенькая ПВ, ориентировочно 05-06 гг. Здесь мимозы и акации в цвету. В знойный полдень. Пахнет сладким медом, пыльцой, подсохшей на солнце травой. В базе запудривается. Запах немного косметический. Цветочный. Приятный, но довольно плотный. Хочется чуть больше воздуха. И для этого как раз и нужна такая погода как сегодня. Дождь прекратится, обязательно выгуляю Елисейские поля Герлен. На фото очень старая туалетка, этот флакон я покупала в 1999 году, весной. И сохранила несколько мл на дне. Самый лучший для меня аромат, самой счастливой поры. Берегу. Чаще ношу туалетку из такого же флакона, но уже в розовой коробке. Не такой пронзительный, меньше фруктовой кислинки, больше жёлтых цветов. А на завтра у меня в планах замечательная мимоза Ray-Flection @masquemilano - солнечная, беззаботная, с запахом молодой весенней зелени. Мимоза здесь тоже пыльцовая, сладковатая, но в аромате много воздуха, солнца и лёгкости.
