GIGI NEAL meets GIGI NEAL 💖 Long story short~ in 2017, this beautiful soul hit me up on social media asking if my name was really Gigi Neal!!??? I told her yes, Gigi is my nickname. I've gone by this name most of my life. It was a quick chit-chat, and as you know, social media can be an odd thing, so I was very cautious. 🙃🤪 Fast forward to a few months & years down the road. Gigi & I began chatting more often. We learned that we shared more in common with one another than not. We both work in the film industry, our heritage is very very similar, we both love to travel, eat delicious food, have wonderful friends, appreciate the simple things in life & so on....as we began speaking more we thought it would be fun to meet one day in person. Gigi has been living in Munich, Germany. However, she is from London. She had been traveling back & forth to California for many years. She happened to be in LA, wrapping up her beautiful screenplay. Once she found out that I & my husband were going to be in Phoenix for a few days, she decided to jump in a rental car and drive 6 hours from LA to finally meet me. WE FINALLY MET AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. What a beautiful day it was meeting this incredible soul. We are like soul sisters who were separated at birth. We met over brunch and had a great few hours. My husband and I were leaving for Tucson that afternoon, so Gigi decided to follow us down the following day to spend more time together. This was such a highlight to our trip to Arizona. I could not be more grateful for her. Sometimes ~ yes sometimes ~ life throws you wonderful surprises that make life feel like sunshine 🌞 Gigi is pure sunshine! 📸✨ Capturing the Cosmos: Geminid Meteor Shower over Barren Ridge Vineyards! 🍇🌠 As the Geminid meteor shower hit its peak, we decided to go out and capture this once-a-year event! Unfortunately, the parkway was closed due to the weather, so we tried the next best spot in Augusta County, Barren Ridge Vineyards. The "Wedding Patch" in the vineyard is a great location to capture a 360-degree night sky view with relatively low light pollution. After seeing over 30 meteors in an hour, we were able to capture just a few. The Geminids, known for their vibrant and frequent meteors, painted the heavens above the vineyard. 🌠✨ Swipe through to witness the magic and marvel at the dance of shooting stars against the backdrop of Barren Ridge's rustic charm. This is my reason as to why I’m a photographer 🤍 Kayla and I have been friends since like… 6th or 7th grade. We have so many selfies with each other! I even remember one day I was hanging out at her place and we put crazy make up on and wore cowboy hats and just took photos on our laptops. Fast forward a couple years and she told me she was getting married. So obviously I begged her to let me take her photos. Fast forward even more and now we are here.
