Con el tiempo y varios dueños, pasó a funcionar como escuela, como una fábrica de refrescos y una de velas, hasta un casino. En 1987 se iniciaron los trabajos de restauración y diez años después empezó a funcionar como lo que es en la actualidad, las oficinas del Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural en Cuenca. 📍Este lugar guarda tanta historia y arte en cada parte de su estructura y para cuando estén en esta ciudad, pueden visitarlo en la calle Benigno Malo entre Presidente Córdova y Juan Jaramillo, a dos cuadras del parque central.
