But sometimes you wonder, how do you combine all these aspects, how do you manage to do everything? The truth is, you won’t be able to do everything. The most important thing is that you regularly alternate your focus on each aspect, rather than trying to tackle everything at once. My supper using the remainder of white meat chicken from the rotisserie I bought yesterday. Topped off with some mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, a couple pickled banana pepper slices and a dollop of cottage cheese. (I only had 5 oz of chicken so needed a little more protein). Early dinner was great! Since I've been back on my journey. I have been learning to be more aware of what I eat, the amount, and time of day I am eating. Now, I do understand there are somethings I am willing to give up and there are some things I am going to be mindful in what I eat. Of course, portion control is in the equation as well. The biggest thing I have come to learn. It is not necessary to eat everything on your plate if you are already full. When you begin to feel yourself getting full. Recognize the signals your body is trying to tell you. Moral of the story: It's ok to ask for a to go tray. No shame in the game. Your body will thank you for listening. There are some nutrition coaches that will tell you that if you have oats that you must, and they use the word must, a protein and a fat. That is also a myth. First off if you are going to add protein and fat, you do not need both. You can only use one if you want. Oh and remember, all plant foods contain a certain amount of protein, so you’re already gonna get it. so avoid this. Enjoy your oats. Want to make them better? SHHH don’t tell these nutrition coaches but, add some organic fresh fruit. You can even add flax seeds or Chia seeds and maybe even pumpkin seeds. There you go myth busted!

Easy Snack Wraps🫔🫔 Ingredients: Large flour tortillas Sliced deli meat (such as turkey, ham, or chicken) Sliced cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite) Lettuce leaves Tomato slices Mayonnaise or mustard (optional) Any other desired fillings such as avocado, bacon, or pickles Instructions: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place a few slices of deli meat in the center of the tortilla, leaving some space around the edges. Add a slice of cheese on top of the meat. Layer lettuce leaves and tomato slices over the cheese. Optionally, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or mustard over the fillings. Add any other desired fillings on top. Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla towards the center, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas and fillings.
